"Every" zone was an overexageration on my part. I think I'm missing Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley in Outlands. But I'm kinda wierd and a completionist and wanted to clear every zone on every char. Don't really know why tho. :)

I'm with you there.

I'm moving to having all my profiles directly integrated with the plugin. Hopefully I'll be able to setup some method to running a "just do all" feature once it's near completion. Right now I'm still just working at getting everything covered. Nagrand is throwing me for a loop as there are multiple quests that are only available so long as you don't do consortium rep. I'm 30 quests shy of completing and I've already finished the main hubs for it. Lots of work to do!

Sounds awesome and I'll keep checking in on your progress. Anyway it's a lot of help just to be able to run Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley by bot. :)
I'm actually very impressed with what you're doing (and trying to do).

I am getting this error when I start the bot

Starting the bot!
Currently Using BotBase : Questing
Can not start quest bot - this profile does not contain a quest order!

I can't seem to make it work, mind helping?

According to your log it's loading a blank profile after you are deactivating the plugin. Are you selecting a zone from within the plugin's UI? Which one? I don't see sign of it attempting to load the profile selector for any specific continent. Did you copy this plugin from an old install of HB, or fresh from the website for this log?
 
Hey I was just wondering and maybe this has been answered but I over looked it in the 9 pages... but here goes


Is there a way to force to bot/profile to only and always use flying mount/Swift Flight Form? Its always faster then ground and would be quicker and get the quests done in less time.


if this is not possible through the profile is there a way to force this bot side, or a plugin some where?

The profiles are programmed to always use flying. If it is not please identify the specific situation or quest where it is not, along with a log file, so that the issue can be addressed.
 
Well after I posted I haven't ran I to a problem, it's been flying, but the first 5-8 quests or so in azhara starting at ogrimar back gate to the first quest at the depot it used the travel form or the set ground mount.

If I'm not mistaken the first 5-8 quests in azshara involve using a vehicle that does not fly, and QBs in order to properly "tame" and "mount" it, so in that instance, flight isn't fully doable.
 
There are two quests that involve the shredder thing, but in the mining pit quests to kill and pick up bars, it was all travel form. A bit frustrating

If have to check with the mesh, but that whole area may be considered indoors. Not 100%.
 
Well if that's the case it would make since.... But if it's indoors would a Druids travel form be viable?

After reviewing the code, I was able to make some small changes:
1) For the first few quests, it will now fly (if far enough) to the given point (using FlyTo rather than RunTo, left over from leveling version) to get the mount
2) Changes the grind for the item to give quest "Return of the Highborne?" from CollectThings to InteractWith, giving it innate flight support

I reviewed the code for the quarry area. Most of the objects to interact with are too close together for HB to warrant flight. Flight is determined based on distance from A to B. If too short, it will use ground mount, even shorter, it'll walk. That area, while total trip time is long, the straight distance A to B is too short to warrant using a mount, and it will not. Sorry.
 
Gotcha I wish I had more knowledge with code so I could assist with some stuff. I ran into a couple other issues thought I would pass along, the bot seemed to be confused as what to do and kept attempting to mount when in a spirt form (had a buff similar to death spirt)

Hey just wanted to give a bit of a progress report,
Felwood= No Issues noted
Winterspring= No Issues noted
Ashenvale= Minor Issue with finding ashenvale runners that were cloaked, it didn't want to use quest item, (Sorry didn't write down the name of quest) otherwise, No issues.
Northern Barrens= Currently running
  • http://www.wowhead.com/quest=5041 & http://www.wowhead.com/quest=872 are located in a razerfen cave den thing, the bot was flying randomly from point a-b-c on the small mountain above the cave thing. (I seem to remember reading something like this before that this is an HB thing not a Profile thing but I could be wrong)

  • On the quest Crossroads Caravan PickupYou are riding a kodo in a caravan with a shotgun, only ability is to spam 1 (shoot), however the bot attempted to continually cast moon fire getting an "You cant do that right now" error.

Desolace- Qued

Hopefully have these zones done tonight or by morning, will post reports/ edit this post with updates. SO far Wonderful Botbase/Plugin.

I had to Command the Bot to Stop, Every couple of quests the bot would either get stuck in the world, or not know what to do with a quest (No quest info add a override).

The bot was great every where except Northern Barrens... there... omfg the bugs. Thought you might like to know, Lots of bugs, Multiple quests...
