The aftermath..

Absolutely. I'm surprised its not already dead. Its weird to me that people get so freaked out about being banned from such a crap game. Once they removed Rmah and any type of trading the game became extremely dull. I mean, what sane person wants to grind for hours on end to be rewarded with more grinding? To then have the build they spent countless hours on become irrelevant due to a new patch? Ludicrous! Botting IS the game now, and only because of the accounts that survived the Rmah days. Which are sadly missed =(

Because they turned D3 into Leaderboard status fest. The main complaint is all the "twitch" streamers that run D3 full time are trying to get people banned or botters banned because they think since they are "e famous" they won't get hit and then will be on top of the boards for the fame.

Sadly no one's really doing much on D3 now days, especially manual play unless it's to run GR80+ with a clan group or something.

Just to weigh in, I use to work down the road from blizzard at Apple, Inc. and met someone who use to be a GM for blizzard. He actually said its very hard for blizzard to detect people botting due to the single player aspect of the game. Ultimately a waste of time to investigate someone unless they get reported.
