I play well enough, and everyone accuses me of being a bot, but I take it as a compliment, because my kicks are always on point. Nice job Blizz on believing every random report saying someone is a bot. Look a little further into detail next time please.. It's not fair people who play legitamently lose their accounts for no reason.

REPLAY FROM Mirasol MVP - Technical Support : They don't ban on reports, although that can trigger an investigation. They log all your activity, login details, programs running on your PC and interacting with the game etc. THAT is what they ban people on. It is also why investigations take months to gather all the data on all those players.

What is even funnier, is when people post on Tech Support and we can see the botting programs in their log files...and they think Blizzard can't? They most certainly are not going on random reports.

As for actions:

-Some got 6 months
-Some got 18 months, likely second offenders
-ALL of them got currency and items stripped from the accounts.

So IF they come back they will come back to a shell of an account.

I do find it funny he thinks an account with no gold is a shell of an account. As if gold is difficult to make in this game, between garrisons, old raids, mats farming and even WoW tokens. What a joke.

Everything else he says is hearsay.

They also said they took gold and items from my account, but in the short time i was able to get back on it everything was exactly the same. I just came back to playing and this was my third week, so months isn't even accurate. What we need is a mole. A high ranking employee on Bosslands side to gather information and thwart blizzards evil plans and blow up the Starkiller....or something like that.

i copted 6 month bannn LMFOA the first band wave didnt get me the second one got me!!! but still man.. i am happy they banne i played this game for 11 years blizzar sucks any ways the game is too boring anyway i really do thank honerbody tho they saved me alot of times. from farming honer... good work Honerbody for the help you gave us all.. blizzard sucks.. anyway.. i tried getting back the account but they said the disition is made. i would like to see how long i can last with out wow ehheehhe

The hb code was handed to blizzard by Apoc. No way this is safe and not undetectable anymore. They probably can tell now anytime the exe file is injected into wow.

Apoc Supposedly gave the Sbuddy code But no mention of Hbuddy codes, also i doubt it since i botted the hell out of the last week and im still fine.

I doubt that is true.
It is illegal to record data from another persons pc, including programs they are running.

A Most Valuable Poster (or "Most Valued Forum Poster"; aka MVP) is a player who has answered players' questions consistently and accurately in the past that Blizzard gives a note of credibility to what they post.

MVPs are glorified forum members, not real Blizzard employees. Therefore their posts on the subject are worthless speculation at best and deliberate misdirection (being Blizzard fanboys) at worst.

I doubt that is true.
It is illegal to record data from another persons pc, including programs they are running.

Its illegal to spy Angela Merkel or Nicolas Sarkozy mobile phone. but is has been done. american agencys and big companies give a shit on what they are allowed or not. it has been proven many times. and blizzard is a big american company
they do it as long as they dont get catched (real proves, not just "we know theres no way else thy can do this) or sued.

I've only just recently came back to WoW and started with a new account, pre-ordered Legion etc etc. I've played less than a month on this account. Only botted 1-100 on two characters 99% supervised and botted Tanaan dailies 99% supervised. I've used CR's in raids and none for PvP. I highly doubt I've gotten a single player report for botting and yet here I am with a 6 month ban after only botting for a month while supervising all of its actions. Tell me again how that MVP is wrong with their statements? Blizz KNOWS. I can honestly say I'm done botting from here on out. There's just way too much risk now. Godspeed to the rest of you who decide to carry on.

I was wondering if HB had somehow cut a deal with Blizzard to sidestep this legal crap and perhaps they have after reading that.

Well isnt that a real kick in the pants. I'm glad I no longer play, HB is perhaps a big scam as well.

There has to be a way to run honorbuddy in a way that wow doesn't see it as a process. It installing to the documents folder is a step in the right direction I think, but we need something more. Like a way to sandbox but it still be able to attach to WoW. Maybe they should just make HB a virus that merges into a browser haha then it would be good.

It's common knowledge if you read the news. I believe Bossland sued Blizzard over it and won but I may be misremembering here.

I Have bought quite a bit from the buddystore, profiles,botbases ect... Some of the packs were not cheap. I would say a couple hundred dollars on honorbuddy and however much on wow.
Here is the thing the next expac new packs botbases plug ins and profiles are going to fill up the buddy store again, and its going to be more money for a product that is detected.
I use honorbuddy because i believed i was safe from detection, if i Bot stupid and get banned its my fault.
For me buying a product that is 100% Not safe is not worth my money. Why would intentionally use a bot i know is going to get my account banned regardless of how i use it?

Im willing to bet 50% of the HB users are casual like myself just supporting there main account.

The whole we think we might know how it was detected is not reassuring at all.
I would only use the program again if they where 100% sure how they are being detected. Not pretty sure

The real money is in the next expac when all new products hit the buddy store they have more to lose with a 50/50 release and getting 3 strikes before legion comes out.
