After running the good old .082 (i think it was) for a while it no longer worked so i had to upgrade.
Now after 1 day with the new version(s) i get a permban. "Failed to get game data from the server" on both
PC and mobile device. And I've been in the same location for a week so it got nothing to do with teleporting around.
So i guess the lesson her is for you that still runs an old version, don't upgrade.
 
IDK but same here.. i've been using the 0.02 version for a week without any issues. It stopped working 3 days ago so I bought the new one. 1 day on using it and i got perma banned.

maybe the version you talking about is on the old API, so it can't work now
 
You're the only one to blame for the ban, if you look around, this forum and others, many users are being banned.

Reason being? No bot is able to communicate properly with the Niatic servers (due to the change in API?), flagging an account which may be using a 3rd party program. This has been more than 2 weeks, and been spoken about massively.

Well yeah if I didn't use Pokefarmer I wouldn't get banned so it is our own fault. Part from that fact i feel sorry for the people that bought a whole year of this.
And this isn't a "hate" post, I don't really care much about it as I still have my main account :)
