[Test] Honorbuddy 2.0.0.4928

Hey Guys,

i bought HB a few hours ago.
Now i tried to use it, but i only get disconnects with the "hax.lua" string in it as error message.
I'm using KICKz Profile (Quest 1-60 human quest), his Quest Behaviour and his plugins out of his svn trunk.

you're either dc'ing or pressing stop. i dunno which

It closes every time HB crashes wow, itself or both :D

My take on the UI is that after the login prompt it should take you straight to a config tab where you would have

Profile Name / Load Profile Button (the profile name could be a combo box listing the last 4-5 profiles you have used)
Bot Selector / Bot Config Button
CC Selector / CC Config Button (CC selector would remember the last used CC for the char and become locked once you hit start)
Run for [ x ] Hours
Plugins Button
Settings Button (opens the current settings dialog)
Dev Tools Button

If you click start it then switches you to the log tab, all that would be visible there is the log filling pretty much the whole window, the tab bar, status bar and the start/stop button. The current style/theme of the UI is ok id just change the layout a little particularly as I do find I use the bot/cc configs the most and its a minor annoyance to have to go via the settings dialog to get to them, normally if im going to change any of those settings it is right after i login and have decided what im going to use the bot for

The only other minor dislike i have from a usability standpoint is the way child windows work in the test version of HB, when you open a child window you cannot interact with the parent window until it is closed.
 
Probably not a good place to ask this, but can anyone tell me if I can do anything with gatherbuddy2 on my druid's flight form, so it doesn't fly up on combat in an attempt to disengage combat.

I want him to just drop out of flight form instead of flying up to leave combat.

Sorry if this question annoys you by being in the wrong place...
 
Is there any way to get it to save separate settings for each toon. It's pretty annoying having to change everything every time I use a different toon. Also, which options does it go by? As in when I select gather herbs/nodes in the general settings do I also have to select the same options in the GB2 settings?

hb saves settings for each toon, if that isn't working for u (i remember i had this problem multiple times now) try a clean install of hb
 
Here i go.

Tested it on few toons so far,

Questing and GB2 work ok, could be improved on reacting to event. Little tweaking if it doesnt break everything.

There is a stability problem, sometime when trying to shut down HB, it crash wow, sometime when questing or gathering it crash everything, its rare but annoying when happening, no reason trigger it or at least that i could find, no logs sorry.


overall this release is ok.

Good luck with that. Been an HB problem since day one...problem persist all the way to 85+
 
Current problems I have seen:

1. Like new gui, hate opening 3+ windows to configure....would prefer tabs

2. Still no mail/repair in Deepholm

3. Druids still try to fly away from aggro in flight form

4. Druids will not face several target mobs in several zones

5. Bot stops after training

6. Bot randomly "gets lost" and just stands there

7. Bot randomly crashes and or crashes wow

8. Dev tools need prior options added for current location

9. Bot stops after learning new flight path

10. Many could "not generate path" errors need to add a check to move any direction a few yrds when that happens and then try to regenerate path

11. Druids forced to use flight form... need to add an option to use normal mounts

Noticing this also. I suspect it happens only at Goldshire trainers. It doesn't happen with Westfall or Ironforge trainers (included in Kicks profile)
 
Would be very nice if it could detect that you have Heirlooms. Then it's prety usless to pick those quest rewards and focus on other stuff if possible.
 
There seem to be some major problems with the integrated version of AutoEquip. Just noticed my pala equips a 1h sword named Foe Reaver instead of Blade of the Titans (with Crusader) which is superior in every aspect to the 1h sword. :/ I have 6 toons levelling atm and similar stuff happened for them. Auto Equip is properly configured. I liked the version with custom stats profile generation a lot better.

well... equipme did a much better job too...
 
As much as I love garlic, I can live without people around me eating it.
