Thanks for this!

From working with the previous GPSEditor, I found not being able to add points manually and more importantly not being able to delete multiple points at once was a nightmare.

I'll test it out when I get home, but is functionality for the above added?

Points still can be added only from plugin, but if you need this - this option will be added also

There are other things more important you can work on I think! I was just curious =)

Can I select more than one point and delete?

Maybe I am doing it wrong, but say I have a route from Falcorth Plains to Arcum Iris. I want to re-use the same route, but instead of going south to Arcum Iris I have to go west to Mahadevi. Currently, I have to click each point 1 by 1 and delete, and it takes a longer time than just re-running the route. Is this the wrong way to do it?

Can we just restart the client and will it auto update to this new gps editor?

Or do we need to manually overwrite it?

edit reason:

Im now manually overwriting it,

I have a question about the GPS Plugin.dll

When placing this file in the plugin folder of the GPS, there is already an .dll file named GPS, do i need to Rename "GPS Plugin.dll" to "GPS.dll"

or do i not change anything of the name, and leave both the original "GPS.dll" and the "GPS Plugin.dll" in the same folder ?

Edit 2: ( to not overflow posts )

So this is how my GPS plugin folder should look like afterwards?:

Dont touch names, just place this file to new folder in plugins folder

It looks pretty nice.
I've noticed that my points aren't named at all when I open up my existing db3s in the new editor.

Things I think that would make it better:

  • The ability to still see the map if you zoom in all the way
  • Mass deleting points
  • The ability to add points to the db3 directly from the editor
  • Hotkeys
  • An about button that shows what each button does or lists hotkeys or maybe the button could just link to a buddyforum guide.

Change link is misspelled as Chenge link.

I can't tell what the polygon tool does. I see that it makes a polygon with a white filler. I don't know what else it does.

The GPS plugin just crashes archebuddy when I start it

This feature will be released later.
For farm zones (good zones) and bad zones, where AB will try do not run into them

Explained
For mass selection of points / links, use the key Alt + left mouse button. Try SHIFT key.

  • The ability to still see the map if you zoom in all the way
Resolution map tiles do not permit.
  • Mass deleting points
there are BETA
  • The ability to add points to the db3 directly from the editor
Method inserts the clipboard will be added. Method to add by clicking on the map is not very accurate. There are strong differences with the game. You can add a new point, use tool "Split link" by removing links, and to restore the previous link.:)
Be added.

Thank you for your attention, a misprint.

You must run the plugin when the player is in the game. The editor must also be running.

bug: previous named points names on old db3 appear without name

suggestion: feature for importing multiple maps at same time and be able to "merge" them

can you add point manually ? if not can you add it because its long way to travel just to add 1 point

and thank you for this update

Few issues so far. I know its beta but I do like the direction.

- Point labels are not always showing after adding.
- Selecting points are weird. I would have thought shift or ctrl clicking would select multiple points instead of just clicking.

Request
- Add point manually

Also I am having issues with the gps in generally. It will sometimes show me in a different location on the map then I actually am. This screws up my pathing and requires me to relog.

New version, please, continue test it and report feedback.

I really like this version of GPS editor, but I have a major issue when saving changes.

This is what I get when I save:

table point has no column named
c1b89ba4349b7bc984c15c543320z994

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Thanks for the post! Cause of the problem has been found. Wait for the update.

Getting the same error as zerochiten when trying to save certain paths.
