Tech advice please

Hey fellow botters i`m reaching out for some help.
I currently play and bot wow on my dell xps laptop intel i7 processor 8 gb ram1 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M Graphics Card now my problem is im on the lowest settings but on max resolution and when i 5 man using honorbuddy and tyrel my fps goes from 60 to between 14-25fps and its driving me potty i have nothing else running on the laptop.
any suggestions to why this may be are greatly appreciated ty in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply. should this laptop not beable to cope with this tho?
if not it looks like ill be looking at getting a desktop again ive got soo used to the high resolution

I usually advise people to reformat if they have the technical know-how. It's a literal 100% refresh. You may think nothing else is running, but there are certainly processes in the background. Otherwise, do a defrag, and go to Start > Run > msconfig, and disable some of the processes you know you don't want running.

thank you for your reply dell recently fitted a new hard drive 2nd replacement i may add in a year. i only use the laptop for wow so hopefully there shouldnt be anything running but ill check in ms config just incase thank you again
