That's just one of the unstuck mechanisms. As you can see, it kicks in a lot faster than it does in the old HB (and even faster in the newest revision of HB 2).


Right now it won't know they are there. I'm working on it though.

Thats great. That why I had to post the question, because it was very impressive to see it jump with minimal calculations. Bravo! I hate that faire, it would be really nice to recognize those obstacles. -- perhaps even just blacklist those knowed spots, quick or not...better than going around them than to try and calculate through them I would think.

Looking forward to future updates -- teasers are great!

Not only the fairie , there are multiple events that change the area around with obstacles, winterveil for example ;)

Here's one from just outside Orgrimmar to Orgrimmar flight master.
 
thanks a bunch now how would it handle the bridge that goes from the flight master XD
 
well cause right now it cant handle it ... wel lthe old mesh and profile system - so if it can etrain will be once again usefull for us...

It handles it easily. I can't be arsed making a video, but it's fine. Why wouldn't it?

Just out of curiosity....since you said there are not actual meshes involved for the navigation of the bot....how do you actually tell him to go to a specific place?

I don't think its as easy as telling him the coords of the destination, is it?

Could you give us a few details as to how pathing works? Or rather what will be the equivalent of the mesh/profile from the current version?

The mesh/navigation files are just maps as it were, the profile actually tells it where to head.
If you download a fresh profile with mesh file and open up the .xml in something like notepad you will notice the profile defines several places called hot spots.

With the new system I *assume* you will simply only have to create hot spots which makes the possibility of creating unique profiles almost endless.
