I made this video to showcase the new nav system. It is near flawless. While still being tweaked for certain situations it is no doubt a huge improvment over the previous version.

Credit goes to Main for the work done on the new Nav system.

BTW Mordd a little tip, there is an recorder called camtasia, if your graphic card isn't good for it then ok... but it records everything you wanna record... so please use it, its a lot better that way :)

Any chance you could host the video for download somewhere? Can't see at work.
 
Looks really nice.
If one uses the bot on daily basis I think he will notice the sharp turns the bot does but for a normal person that is just a normal person in a hurry :).

Well if anyone questions your movement then just tell them you use click to move, nothing saying you cant play the game like that :)

I will have more teasers, this was the first about 30 min before the servers shut down.

My graphics are good, but this was quick.

In general sharp turns are more common than your think. Just for the fact that there is lag and other issues with servers where it doesnt always have precise movment. But I doubt anyone would know or care.

Camtasia is not really that good for recording games, I would stick with Frapps. Thanks for the vid. Quick question...when he jumped, was that calculated from what I saw in the annotations? Or was that done manually? Quite Impressive. I'm curious how this works when the Dark Moon Faire is in town?

That's just one of the unstuck mechanisms. As you can see, it kicks in a lot faster than it does in the old HB (and even faster in the newest revision of HB 2).

Right now it won't know they are there. I'm working on it though.

Amazing job. Moves better than me when playing manually :)

About the Faire, since it's scripted on precise dates, couldn't you just add the maps with Faire in town and then tell it to load them once per month? :)

Namreeb doesn't have elevators working. And no, I don't.
