I posted the day before last however my thread was pretty much ignored while others weren't.
I have several issues with the bot and with the community so far.
Firstly, in terms of the community, whenever anyone has a problem, they're asked for a log file, which is fully understandable in most cases. When they complain regarding bot performance and how slow, inefficient ant outright obvious it is, they're also asked for a log file, which is completely irrelevant.
Running Tankleader with the standard Battle Tank and Target routines is horrific. Movement is outrageous, aiming is lazy, it just uses the games inbuilt right click auto aim, which targets center of mass, which results in us having to use SAE's auto aim mod. I'm then back to the fact the target routines suck. The speed at which the bot goes through targets and filters is SLOW. It's forever trying to connect to the "server", which often happens when the bot changes from an Objective POI to a Kill POI, which results in a few seconds of NOTHING happening.
I'm more than happy to pay a monthly sub as long as things are improved however this is meant to be version 2 and it's awful, how was version 1 in comparison?
I've posted asking for help in terms of creating my own routines, I've searched the forums and read guides for development on other Buddy software but the systems aren't the same.
I want to create a movement routine that simply acts like a sheep and follows the nearest team mates. It might follow tanks of a specific type or tier.
I don't want the bot to charge in full steam and only get off a single shot.
The WaitForRandomTime plugin is ineffective and stupid, nobody sits AFK at the start of every battle for between 10-30 seconds, just doesn't happen. Also makes the bot easy to identify.
Changing the settings to something more realistic like 1-5 or 1-10 is pointless because the idea of the plugin is to give your team mates time to spot enemies and give you something to shoot at when the bot goes flying in like a bat out of hell.
In terms of creating anything for the bot at all, there are NO guides. The documentation simply states no more than Visual Studio does in tooltips after adding Tankleader.exe as a reference.
The FEW examples there are have very few comments and don't actually show you how to do ANYTHING.
I'm not an experienced developer, I'm pretty much a noob, I've spent most of my time playing with Unity and a lot of that time playing with Quats. I just want a little help and a little documentation or a few examples of behaviour and routine design for Tankleader!
