Hello everybody

When i start the program and click at start button it does nothing. Simply gets frozen.

Anyone can help me?

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Ok, the problem's solved.

Only take care about the windows version, cause mine is x64. And i'll reinstall c++ x64

I had the same problem with pressing Start and the program would freeze. No fix for it though... happens randomly. You have to kill your session in BuddyAuth after it freezes so you can log back on.

You'll probably need both, even though your OS is x64, our stuff is all x86 and so is the game. If you're on a 64-bit OS, just install both of them to be safe. I'm not quite sure how Windows handles this stuff under the hood frankly.

Is there a specific moment when it happens or is it truly random?

This also happens to me and I am seeking a resolution as it's a pain.
Around 9/10 times I click start and the whole application freezes. have to end task via task manager

Even when I try to clear the list of tanks, it also freezes (I do this under the developer tab, can't remember the option as I am not in front of my computer right now).
I've cleared the list via the XML file and even forced it to re-create a XML file with the same issue.

I click start, freeze, end task, start, freeze, end task, and follow that until it eventually works. Way too annoying

I've uninstalled:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

Also x64 for visual C++ as my OS is x64
Rebooted

Then reinstalled all of the above + windows updates. Still getting the same problem
