Greetings,

We're currently in the process of fixing some critical performance bugs in TankLeader before we release it. Recently we've been profiling TL's performance and found a handful of caching related and performance related bottlenecks which caused the bot to be indecisive when for example determining which target it should aim for. Whenever the current target was decided, the bot would use old values which had been retrieved seconds ago rather than fresh information from the game, often times resulting in the bot being indecisive and "jumping" targets and not shooting anyone in the battle.

We have decided to not inherit these problems from the previous version with this new patch, and therefore have decided to delay the release of the bot slightly until we have it addressed. We hope you understand this is in the best interest of you as our customers in the long run.

If you are on a trial key, send in an e-mail to [email protected] and they will extend your keys for a couple of days to compensate for the downtime. Make sure you link to this thread in your e-mail to them.

I hope that also this new version of Tl2, bring the option to choose how collisions. I would like to again Tl2 colliding with a tank, go ahead and turn to bump into the tank xD

We will add support for selecting your preferred collision handling stuff somewhere down the line soon, for sure. :)
 
Will this also fix the issue with the bot freezing, and forcing you to ctrl alt delete to get it shut down? And, the bot freezing when you press start?
 
I cant use TL2 as soon as I login WOT crashes.

I think at the very least we should have our keys extended by 1 day for lack of use.
 
The bot is being very unstable, driving back and forth between "objectives" and running into walls, getting itself stuck over and over again...And also, the Credits per hour starts at -999999. So it will remain very inaccurate no matter how long you play.
 
Aevitas: Many ways and which of collisions will be able to choose on the Tl2???

Already said that. But I said it anyway WOULD>. <. Only that way you could choose. I did not say that version will come with that option

Haven't used this since tankleader 1 about a year ago. It is running much better with the targeting and maneuvering seeming to be near flawless now. Only noticed a few little things wrong with this. Sometimes on starting it up it just freezes and never seems to take control of the client. I just restart it a few times till it works. Clicking anything on the developer tab seems to cause it to crash every time. About 50% of the games it doesn't realize it is in a game for a minute or so, and just kind of chills with the log saying "We've entered a Regular battle. Waiting for the battle to start." Also, my credits per hour doesn't display anything. Not that seeing the credits or not hinders anything, but it would be nice to know. Those are just some things i figured id report to help make this more flawless. All in all it's a much better bot than what i paid for with tankleader 1. Thanks

Thanks, I really appreciate the kind words. I'm a little confused as to why the UI isn't showing you the stats like credits per hour and stuff; as far as I know there are no known issues with that stuff. What OS, .NET Framework and stuff are you running?
 
Windows 7 home premium and 4.0. I ended up re installing, and now on occasion it will show the credits per hour and total/gained but most of the time it just thinks all the credits i have total is how much it has gained.
 
What happened in this patch? The bot seems now so stupid that im certain that i will get banned. Like 2 months ago it was much better, now the tank is just circling around and zig-zaggin in base and running into stuff...


edit: Yup, just circling around and not even locking the target when it comes closer than 20m to you.
