Talents and stats for a warlock farmer

I think it would be interesting if those who have experience using a warlock for farming posted here which talents you recommend to have, as it's obvious that what can be found in other websites isn't optimal for farming, as those talents configurations are for raiding. It would also be useful to know which stats are more important. For example, it seems obvious that you don't need to be hit capped when farming.

I would recommend a demonlogy spec, it adds alot of survivability but sacrifices dmg output. But i think any specc would work. I have been leveling my warlock as demonlogy from 68 to 70 last night.(400k exp/h as rested) 0 deaths, i probably never had health under 50%.
Just stack spellpower - stamina - intellect. Some spirit never hurts because of the fel armor buff, but you should never sacrifice spellpower/stamina/intellect for spirit.
 
mittac pretty much got it xD. Demonology is the way to go, your pet helps you survive so much easier.

3 last points are you own choosing. After getting metamorphosis, you can start spending points in desctruction. I have seen some demon speccs go for affliction, but as your CC will probably use shadowbolt/incinerate.
I would recommend something like this
 
I tested demonology using Ski CC, but it just keeps doing Corruption, Curse of Agony and Draining Life (also if I'm on Destruction), and also summons the Imp instead of Felguard when the last dies. Is it possible to make it work with Destruction spells and to summon the felguard?

Sorry for not saying it in the original post, but I was referring to farming when you are already 80. Anyway, it's also interesting to talk about where to have talents while leveling. I personally also think Demonology is probably the best, from level 50, when you can summon the Felguard.

You can open up CC config, and change Curse of agony and corruption to false. that way he will not use them. :) You can also change pet usage from auto to fel guard or w/e you want

Ok, great, I'll try next time to change the pet it uses.

But, if by default it uses affliction spells, wouldn't be better to have talents on Aflicction? At least where it improves the spells that it uses, like curse of agony, corruption and drain life.

You could just move the points from destro to affliction :)

This will work, the talents in destro or affliction doesn't really matter too much. The most important talents is that Felguard. Demonology feels like abit half-assed spec, it got no spells that are "the only ones you should use". As for the glyphs Life taps is great, and so is the felguard one. Glyph of shadow bolt is not that great, but the third glyphspot is hard to fill for demonology.
 
I am Demo, and I have just started using the Mass Pull option and its great! increased my xp per hour by a ton. But i thought Demo would be the only one that could really handle it over long periods of time. Has anyone tried Affliction? (is the xp/hour better) etc?

It's just the affliction dps is much better. Demo pulling with the felguard is really where mass pull shines.

which profile are you using my lock gets nowhere near that amount of exp I sit around 80k at most
im 62 right now but its still good to know of profiles that work for people thanks
