Sword & Board or WW

I've been looking around a bunch of different forums for theorycrafting for either of these two specs. In terms of making the bot more efficient with minimal DPH and decent clear time, what would you guys suggest. I know WW is squishier than sword and board, but is the extra DPH worth the faster clear time? If you also stack enough LoH and LL, would WW in turn become more efficient in the DPH category, as you hit a boat load of times/sec with WW+Sprint etc..
Some thoughts of how bot with your barb would be awesome.

I would go Sword and Board. With whirlwind, you will be a lot squishier and the mechanics are much more complicated. I have 40k dps (100k with WOTB), 500LOH, 49% Block, 70k Life, 800 All Res.

If the bot can use the WW build like how I use it manually, I would go WW. But it cant, so SnB is the way to go.

Is there any gear point at which WW becomes better? Or is the bot just not able to use the build well, period?

Shields are uber cheap nowdays, i managed to get a 250 str/vit 19 block for 2-3 mils afair. Or you can pump him vit to 50-60k and get some 300 str 22-25 block chance stormshield for 3-4 mils... It's worth every penny of it...

regarding the OP,

if you have gold and want to spend it on your bot, then i see no wrong in going the WW build, its just 3x more expensive than a viable sword & board, but you should be doing A3 runs 2-3x quicker, so it may pay itself off in the future, obviously depending on your luck. i wouldnt bother going a WW build if my paragon is low tho.
