[FREE] [Swim][N-QB] Poseidus Farm[Maffyx]

  • Added hook to check for lootable for Poseidus, hopefully this fixes it not being able to loot it
  • Added more efficient anti-afk

Haven't had much luck, but did find some useful info on the subject of farming for this thing.

From Wowhead.com (top rated comments @ Poseidus NPC page):
Poseidus's spawn time seems to range from 72-120 hours and is subject to server restarts, meaning his spawn resets after a maintenance or the weekly restart on wednesday at 5:00 am (EU).

The weekly maintenance usually ends at 5:00 am server time (EU), meaning he won't spawn till at least Saturday at 5:00 am (EU) server time and at the latest 5:00 am (EU) Monday.

It might be very useful for other people to add to the original post that there's a spawn window in which you can farm for this mount ;). Farming outside this spawn window is a waste of time!

Unfortunately not at the moment, I may be able to implement something in the future but it would require an addon. So I'm hesitant to add that in.

Alisha have integrate in all her profiles realm switch without needed an addon from users ^^

Right, but I don't have access to her code or knows how she does it. It isn't a simple process.
 
im having an issue where this doesnt do the aint afk? i had the same issue last weekend it ends up loggin and hbrelog has to connect me agan

Could I get a log? Will be able to see what's going on then.
 
If you're hesitant to create a version that uses Server Hop, could you release the source of the profile so that people wanting to integrate cross realm functionality may do so?

Unfortunately I can't do that as I have it on the buddy store. I'm not allowed to post anything that I have on there. I'll definitely think about it when I get my account back.
 
Great profile. just wondering if you could add cross realm assist so after it done the full route it then uses realm assist to start again rinse repeat give greater chance then of getting it

Question : Patrol Lite - This profile removes all the auto navigation and only includes the farming route, if it finds/kills/loots Poseidus it will not hearth but will close WoW.

If the bot finds the corpse it will log out? Even if he didnt do the kill ?

That's a really interesting error, it seems like WoW doesn't recognize that you're underwater, but Honorbuddy does. You do have the mount correct? It may be due to the phasing issues with WoW itself. The underwater navigation is really bad. Sorry that's a little unclear, if it finds the corpse but didn't kill it, it shouldn't log out unless it loots it. So it should camp until it does kill and loot it. If it does loot the mount it will log out.
