Summoner not using spells after getting pet

Character was doing great casting spells as needed but as soon as it got the "Kai the cat" pet it no longer uses spells.
This is while using "Leveling" not "PVE" grinding.

The only spell it will occasionally use is one to heal the pet "Servitor Heal" but no dmg spells on mobs.

Was this intended or do you need a log?

This is intented. At the moment the leveling chain uses default profiles for the different classes and the default profile of the summoners includes just healing themselves and their pets while the pets farm.
