Suggestions/ HB NEEDS TO UP THEIR GAME

please read the description of HB. it is a leveling and honor bot. simple as that. everything else is free and supported in the price. and remember, your IP(s) is/are recorded and the mods can see them. so a 1 post person has no say imo.

i would have paid for this bot w/ just the features it had in beta... let alone what it has now

Those features that you listed (from the pirox/omega websites, no less) are certainly nice, but the core engine of both of those bots are point based, meaning stuck chars, non-random pathing, repetitive actions, etc. HB is mesh based, making it a world apart from point based bots. It doesn't have the bells and whistles (yet), but it has a solid core engine and a growing, intelligent community that contributes quite a bit.
 
Pirox is a rotary vw bug engine with a few bolt ons on it...

HB is a BUILT v12 aston martin engine ... with bolt ons everyday =)

bad analogy.. the VW bug engine was one of the most solid longest lasting run through anything with natural air cooling engines that were ever built.. the aston martin engines on the other hand are nice and powerful sure.. but their a pain to work on and there's hardly anyone that can do it plus they require so much compared to a VW.
 
perfect analogy. i said that instead of a 4 banger vs corvette v8. as i've worked on a 4 banger and a v8 corvette and camaro. sbc and bbc. and the fail v6's in the late 80's and 90's

a few things... the vw was simple and you could max it out easily ... pirox has spunk, but doesn't touch hb in the long run

the aston martin is sophisticated and very powerful. labor/work set aside. why do you think almost no one else can develop / work on a mesh engine w/ plugins. ;)

I see the way your looking at it..

the way I see your analogy is this:

HB is simple (in that it doesn't have all the fancy sophisticated stuff the other bots have) but it's strong and trustworthy.. the others are more complex and perhaps even more powerful, but that's also where their fault lies.. which is why HB is superior, because it's simpler easier to use, easier to set up.. and more reliable.

Either way.. I see what your saying.. I would have just done it backwards..

(i'm a car guy too. lol)

Hey man, not to be a dick. But before bashing the damn bot, look at how easy this bot is to run. Come on, last bots I've used required setups that made playing the game a pain because of key setups, blah blah. You want the bot to support then make the plugin yourself like the others have said.

You really pissed me off even making this thread. Here is what a 4 step plan for you to follow. PM When done plz.

Make your own bot.
Make it all fancy like the others ones.
Sell it.
Let people bash yours.

Simple.

Just my 2c. If your upset or anyone is upset by my post, delete it. Just had to say it.
 
Personally I feel Kickass needs to up his game. So he can keep it real with his schizzles. And stuff. I mean when he's out cruising in his VW he has to be all that. Personally, I think HB is like a great set of tits. I mean there are lots of tits in the world, all deserve some respect and fine handling, but HB's tits are different, they're not fake and they're the perfect size to motorboat. There i said it, I'm proud of HB's tits, I think they're way better than all those other "boobs". I'm loosing my train of thought here...

Take HB, and i see you're comparing it to pirox, and omegabot
Ok, now i've had no experience with omega so i'll put that to one side and avoid it.

Take both pirox and honorbuddy.
Step back.
Now, Honorbuddy has been around for a few months.
Pirox has been around for years.

Honorbuddy does most of the features you list there as plugins AND uses a mesh based system, which is far superior to a waypoint system.
With questing in the works, due for release in a few more weeks.. loads of plugins, custom classes and meshes being made by the community..
I can only see Honorbuddy surpassing the other bots in a matter of months of life, let alone years.

Now im not saying Honorbuddy is or isnt the best bot around, Just from experience with both this and pirox, its safe to say Honorbuddy is the way to go for me personally.

If there really were "so many more advanced flawless bots" do you think half of the members would be here? :p

Thats not even taking into account the community here.
Nowhere else, and i mean nowhere, have i been able to log onto the forum, ask a question and be helped by multiple users anywhere near as nicely as here.
I've been learning a bit of C# lately, and i made a bit of a hash of it, made myself look a bit stupid talking about it to some of the developers here in PM's and the chat room.. but i've had a lot of help from them and haven't been mocked for making mistakes.
Now im well on my way to my first plugin, with a bit of luck.
I've had nothing but positive responses here and i believe a great foundation community for a great bot that will expand and improve daily.


So take it or leave it, i say.
You can join the fun here, or run off to another bot, that is your decision.
Just my personal view on things.
Congratulations to those of you that made it through the wall of text.

most bots ive used it takes like 12 days to level 80, I'm on my 17th day at level 63.

Note: it's been running 24/7

CC/Profile issue, nothing to do with the main engine. I know for a fact that people on here have done 80 in <10 days pretty often.
 
17 days to 63? What class are you using? What profile and cc? My pally hit 33 last night with 2 days and some hours played time. The first toon I leveled to 80 using hb was a rogue in 15 days 7 hours. This was before I figured out custom cc and how to use the different settings and wasn't following the survival guide either.
