Hey all,

I'm quite sure that the stuckhandler is programmed into BW but I couldn't find a place to start this thread so I just put it in here (feel free to move it).

Some times the bot tries to get into another's class instance (class quest?) and obviously fails but keeps trying.
Or its stucks somewhere where the bot itself cannot get out itself.

I have come to multiple situations where the toon stucked at a spot where even I can't get him out from (thanks Bioware :) ) not even /stuck helps. The toon simply disappears and I have to port somewhere else in order to unstuck my toon.

The bot continuously tries to unstuck the bot and this weird back -> left -> forward -> back -> right -> forward movements makes the bot highly detectable by other players.

I used bots that where able to jump during unstucking and otherwise after a certain amount of time, logout from the game or at least stop the bot so the toon is logged out automatically due to idle.

How are the chances that this can be implemented to the next release?

I can't count the times I have got stuck cause the bot wants to pull some people who are on a platform you have to jump on to get to them. Having the bot try to jump first while running could help with some of those basic stuck scenarios. Now I have had the bot try to get into another class's instance and that was due to issues in the questing bot not moving to the quest area it wants to be in. Nar Shadda comes to mind on the republic side where it would do that and the quest profile just needs an update. I'm working on getting setup to see if I can fix some of the quest profiles as I have noticed a few minor things that could really help make them shine.

Nar shaddaa rep side should be fixed in my profile...
Or where You using kicks profiles?

The stuck you are describing is one of the failes of bioware...
They are... Glitches in the map itself.
Neither the bot or the user can get out normally, only by zoneing.

Jump would be nice thow in the unstuck, but I think it would be better if it scans for everything and then create a
Temporarily good path... Now it doesn't see gameobjects in the map, heck even trees is a problem.

Yes I'm using kicks because your profiles are reps only (I love being evil :D )

If generating a temp new and better path for the bot don't come with other issues its perfect. Otherwise I would just add jump into the stuckhandler or the auto-quit-stucked-bot

yeah, I'm doing corrections to the profiles already but I didn't properly tested them yet (just put in some new location, edited paths etc)
I'm planning a 10-55 class quest profiles (starting with bounty hunter) based on kicks profiles. As soon as I know how everything works I will start 10-55 complete profiles.

Can you name the Class/Questarea he was trying to get into? I forgot where the location was and I already passed that planet - would like to have a loot at it with another warrior.

Would be nice if you can provide coordinates.

Once I get a VM working well and setup a ftp acct to test I'll let you know, I think it may have even been as low as coriella on the space docks where you get your first ship, it was just missing the taxi back to the quest area so it tried to directly run there and ended up in that particular area.
