SUGGESTION - For the raiders

Well, I honestly feel your pain and to everyone saying to just learn your classes rotation, you're missing the point. Yes, it is an option but as it's been stated a dozen times by others, it's just more convienent to be able to focus on positioning and communication while your mindless, cookie cutter rotation is smacked out.

As for getting a standalone bot? Good luck. I'd enjoy that too because I'm in the same boat but it's just unlikely to happen. What I would suggest is moving your raid nights since this is a constant plague on you. If your guild is top 100 I know they're gonna want to push content but if you guys aren't already practicing on the PTR etc, your not serious enough for them not to accept a couple days of delay.
 
This post is so hilarious! It's looking like people don't like what you are saying at all. People calling you a noob, people tell you learn to play, people telling you to quit, people telling you that you are dissing and disrespecting the developers, and to top it off, how dare you not accept that there is down time?

I'm pretty sure none of this is even close to do with anything that you originally posted. The noobs are the ones that don't comprehend what the original poster is asking or even saying.

Anyway, back on track. I would suggest using PQR for the time being, and yes I support your idea of having just a type of rotation bot. I am not sure if it is just as difficult or not to implement because of the offsets, but maybe one of the developers could explain.

For the time being, this thread has gotten out of hand. People should read what the original poster is saying and just stay on topic. If you don't agree with what your interpretation is out of this post, I would suggest disregarding it. There is no point for name calling, criticism is fine as long as it is constructive. This means that you can point out a flaw, and then show and suggest a way to resolve that flaw instead of just pointing it out and then calling him a name.

It's getting extremely sickening trying to conjure some lie to my guild every patch day as to why I can't raid or be there leading my raid.

srsly dude, why should they favor raiders over the rest that migh/might not use the bot for raiding ? that wouldn't be good for business - it's funny how so many people keep posting stuff like this. we all paid for this bot you know...

1. there is an official post with running updates.
2. it has been previously stated that the bot will be released WHEN IT IS WORKING.
3. STOP ASKING FOR 'SPECIAL' treatment, there are thousands of botters in the same boat as you are and only a fraction is asking for special treatment like you, for whatever they use the bot for.

Although it was pretty funny to see uberleet raiders fail hard on the dps yesterday in my raid :)

I will soon get sick or puke if you continue this discussion, HB is for many uses.. if you wanna be at top 100 with lazyraider, good for you, if you wanna farm 24/7 and have 10m gold, good for you.. we pay b/c we want to have fun with the way WE like to.

Why do people feel the need to troll on a community they are part of? "why pay to use wow if your not playing it?" well why pay for a bot if your not going to use it for the reasons that you want to use it?

My advice to you is do what i do, i complain about my internet constantly and so come patch day i say that because my internet is so poor i lagg to much to raid on patch day due to high user rate and slow download speeds on the patch, therefor i cant raid... its not the greatest excuse but it works for me

I'm literally rolling on flour. That?s some good laugh, though I fall in the same category (except I'm not raider at all)
I completely dependent on bot, I just refuse to rape my keyboard. I prefer to flood here instead w8ing for update. Cheers!

You would be surprised how many silly people we have on this forum, I tell ya 0_o

Im surprised you havent tried PQR as a rotation-helper, rarely is down ever and gets fixed very quick on patch-days and it does just what you need (rotation so you can focus on leading the raid)

maybe u should actually learn ur rotation of ur warrior, so that ur guild can rely on u when the bot stops working
or u tell them that u were always botting and werent such a great leader, but the bot was
i also use the bot but i do know my rotation and can play without the bot also, but sometimes u dont have the time and then the bot comes in
my guild knows that im botting and they dont mind
if u tell urs, than they will kick u i think, and then ur not in that great guild anymore, thats were ur affraid off
 
Iam just like you, i only play whilst using this bot. I honestly doesnt perform as good as the bot does :)

I simply dont enjoy playing the game without this bot, and i think everyone who actually use this bot is in the same boat. On patch days, we are sinking!
 
I preform about the same wether its the bot or me controlling the combat, doesnt realy matter. But, when the bot controlls the combat, I can put all focus on movement etc, wich is a pretty sweet thing when it comes to HC progress! It also allows me to free up space on my screen, since I dont need timers etc to keep track of my debuffs and whatnot.

But mostly, I like doing it just becouse im realy realy lazy. I want to raid, but 9 years of button smashing takes its tole. To those saying "Learn your class, noob" etc, did it ever accur to you that you might be the noob, and that us oldschool veterans just want to relax and enjoy the game abit? ;)


6h untill raid, perhaps its time to change from signed up to tentative? :(
 
I enjoy using LazyRaider myself as well. I don't play the game without LazyRaider ever.
 
You should just your guild that you are not able to perform very well without using a bot while you are leading the raid. If they don't like the fact that you are botting during raids its there problem. I don't think that they will mind that you are doing less dps then normal if you just explain that you are not used to your rotation
 
While I see your point, pushing a Lazyrader only exe would slow down the entire process of getting the bot out to everyone.
I mostly use the bot for farming, so I'd like them to push out a gatherbuddy only exe faster because thats more convenient for me.

However, I don't actually feel like they should do that, I think we should be patient during downtime and realize that we all use this bot for various parts of the game and theres not a really a good reason to slow down development for one part over another.

It would be possible to push out an internal rls with only lazyraider working...

I'm aswell just a lazy player. I'm doing nearly as much dps as with nomnoms routine, but its much more stressfull as for example I can focus less on movement and most iimportant: can't smoke while raiding without it!!! =P

All you people bitching about learning to play our class and shit should realize not everyone uses it for just that. I have really bad arthritis in my hands and can't press buttons fast and for a long time. So to keep up to par with my guild I have to use the bot. I farm everything by hand and never afk bot. The only thing I use is lazyraider. We could all say the same thing about people who afk bot. WHY AFK BOT IF YOU LIKE THE GAME WHY DONT U QUIT HAHAHAHHAHEAHA L2P.

We all use the bot for various things. Don't tell people to L2P just because they use the bot for something you don't. Not many things irk me but shit like that does. Might aswell say L2Gather or L2BG or L2takeyourpick.
 
Im all up for having a "HB Light" that only supports Tyrael (Or whatever botbase you use for your raiding) but I dont think its fair to the community.

The issue about having a "HB light" that only supports Tyrael etc is that not all of us use HB for this purpose only. Just gonna throw some random numbers out there, but lets say that 20% of the users are using Tyrael botbase, 20% questing, 20% gathering, 20% BGbuddy and 20% pokemon. How do you chose witch ones gets a "HB light"?
