I would pay subscription based fee for v2 if v2 comes with prompt service, full support for near perfect bounties,grfit,and other quality of life gizmos. they can keep the v1 skeletonly functional. I just want my DB to work smarter and better so I don't cringe my teeth when watching it runs.They can push Buddy v2 and make it total new thing, and stop support buddy v1.
suggest to make perm-license into 2-year license
