Sub Spec - Singular

New beta... changed PvP quite a bit. Still working on it

IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE THIS CC DOWNLOAD IT FROM THE FIRST POST FIRST, THEN INSTALL THIS.
If you already have my CC, just overwrite the file in the Rogue folder.

Thanks for doing this Obliv, i will test for a couple days and give feedback- dismantle already seems to help a lot so thanks for adding it.

PvP rotations. Got rid of Ambush as an opener and relying on CS / Gouge. Saving the Shadow Dance / Shadow Step until we vanish, which should give us a better opening and more burst during Vanish. Have a few ideas for improving Vanish that should help out quite a bit too.
 
Ran this last night in random battlegrounds 406 PVE ilvl. Pretty sure I made a couple people cry irl. Well done
 
UPDATE:

Singular has a new release for rogues out. At this time I recommend using that version until I can get around to updating this to support the new version.

the new sub spec cc come with singular isn't work as well as yours Obliv, it doesn't use shadow dance correctly, i don't know it just very buggy.

Don't worry, I'll be updating it. Just lots to do this week outside of HB. If mine still works, sweet.. I haven't tested it at all though.

thanks, your sub spec cc plus the plugin, Glue is just perfect for my hemo sub rogue, no matter farming or bg, the output is so nice :)
 
I have tried your beta above this one now and I must say you are really good at this mate, as you prolly know.. ;)

Know I had probs with this CC for a while now, and finally figured out what it was.. it was Glue plugin that caused the crashes..
Now it has been running for 10 h straight in bg's and no DC or crash at all ;)

feels smoother, more like me plaing rather then a bot.
but trinkets work so-so.. at least for the medallion.. even thou I did like you said..

I need feedback folks! What's working.. what could be better? How are you using it.. PvE or PvP?
 
Hey here Obliv.

Well, atm I am at work so can't post a log just yet but...

I use this mainly for PvP and dont get any crashes now. Like I said, was the "Glue" plugin that was screwing things up.

In PvE I use it for dailies and dungeons along with Combat Bot and that works great, except that if I untick the movement setting, it still targets the mob if I leave target, and tries to get behind the mob to nuke it.

In PvP I get an error each time I get rooted by a Drood or CC'd in other ways. and it wont use the trinket while CC'd or silenced.
(I do use the setting you have posted before)
sometimes it does but still far for every time. (will post a log with this in a few hours)

Yeah and is there any way to speed up the movment?
cuz in PvP it looks a bit too "botish" when trying to stab a player and he moves, then I hit, run two steps and hit, stops, runs a few and stabs.. and so on..

But still is the best singular CC on the forum, no bull shit. Have tried all the others and they are not even close to what your CC can do.

Is there any way to donate or sumtin to you for the hard work you have put in? Would like to show my respect n luv for ya work in other ways than just reppin' you..

Hi Obliv,

I've been using this mainly for PvP and I'm usually top 3 in kills and/or damage. I have noticed on recount that my melee is my top damage compared to other rogues I look at in recount during BG's their top damage are usually Backstab, Ambush then Melee. Not a big deal to me but I figured I would throw that in. Getting ready to start 3's and 5's Arena with my guild and will let you know how that goes with combat Bot. The throwing weapon doesn't seem to apply poison to it but the others work fine, I use a haste trinket and it seems to work fine at the moment. What Macroon said about speeding up the movement is true however with the new updates to Glue on Swiny's svn I haven't had any crashes and it speeds up movement pretty good. I tried the other Sub CC's but this one seems to be the best for me so far. Thanks for all your hard work and looking forward to any updates you make!

P.S. If you need more info or logs just let me know.

There's a problem with the thrown weapon poison code in Singular. I ripped out the code from strix' Apsal'ara CC and replaced the relevant methods in Singular. There's a post in the Singular thread about it.
Not sure if it works with the latest svn, I'll check that later after I've had something to eat.
 
It's still not working in stock Singular. I try to leave code as "Singular" as possible so it's less likely that when they update, it destroys my edit. Then again, I don't have any spells that use thrown in Sub now.
 
OK so I need some feedback on the Settings. What should we always disable in LazyRaider mode? What options are missing that you would like to see?

Also, I'm looking at what options don't really need to be there. Such as, if you have Movement disabled in Singular.. the bot should go ahead and disable use of Sprint / Shadowstep / etc so we can use those manually.

Opinions?

Good idea, it's very annoying when playing my warrior to have it suddenly charge into Sylvanas during End Time because I forgot to disable closing abilities as well as movement.
 
Thrown with crippling poison can be very helpful to peel a particularly persistent warrior off of you. It can be even nicer paired with fan of knives in the middle of a large pack. OK, I died but the team managed three uninterrupted flag captures because of it ;)
 
Gonna start testing this with my full Ruthless / Cataclysm Rogue using Fear and Vengeance daggers.

Will report back
