Styx.Helpers.UIsettings exception error

I am getting the "error : the type initializer for 'styx.helpers.uisettings' threw an exception"... I deleted settings file... same error... I uninstalled and reinstalled C++ and .Net... I uninstalled and reinstalled HB... I also restarted my computer when i uninstalled and reinstalled all the programs... Still same error. Earlier I got it to work with my anti virus disabled... then it wouldn't work, then I turned my AV back on and all of a sudden it worked... Then I tried to log back in a min later and it didnt work, so I disabled my AV and now it doesn't work at all, I just keep getting the same error regardless. try dx9 if you are on dx11 and vice versa
 
Having the same problem, switched between Dx9 and 11 and still have the same problem.

How do i switch from dx11 to 9? Everytime I try loading honorbuddy on my paladin, it gives that Styx.Helpers.UIsettings exception error and only does it on my paladin. I need steps on how to make this work.

no, try deleting your settings folder.
 
your honorbuddy folder, delete the folder called "Settings"
