Stuck on making a mesh on 2.0

Can someone tell me what i need to do to make a mesh in 2.0. I'm wondering why theres not record path button. Sound noobish right, but i'v searched for hours reading.. I presumed this is the autumnal method of learning HB.

you dont just make a profile and press start and HB downloads the mesh, you dont need to make a mesh

I just wan't to make a simple pull grind, as i'm doing RaF with my girlfriend and using one of my 4 accounts to run my 85 through it for grinding xp for the two alts. How to i make that? Thats what i'v spent 4 hours of my life on tonight.
