Stuck at the login screen

first completely restart your pc.

then

wow needs to be running in 32bit mode.
to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode.

after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy by right clicking "honorbuddy.exe" and clicking "Run as Administrator"

So I did what you said Code and I still have problems.

1. If I start wow with the launcher it hangs up and closes with an error.
2. If I start wow with the proper .exe from my wow folder it will not attach for some reason. (Log attached)
3. If I start wow from the battlenet app it wont attach either ..it just hangs up with the following:

[03:44:06.115 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.14400.800 started.
[03:44:09.669 N] Logging in...
[03:44:10.891 N] T: 5247454504924281425 H: 2816142060

and will stay like that until the cat and dog wanna go to bed around 11:35 Central Mtn time

Im at a loss ..its been like this after every Wow patch since the big banwave for me ..I sometimes get it to behave and work for me but damn its making me drink too much Budweiser

[22:13:08.480 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.6948.557 started.

yea, thats completely the wrong log.

DONT USE THE LAUNCHER.

make sure wow is running in 32bit mode, then start honorbuddy.exe

I made sure it was on 32 bit mode by watching the vid you gave me (very good btw) and I didnt use the launcher ..I also renamed the Wow64.exe files in my Wow folder so that it didnt inadvertantly get selected as the video suggests.

and suddenly the thing works :/ I have no Idea why it doesnt work one day and then does ..but whatever thanks for the help CodenameG your always a good resource

peace out

Its doing it again...It only worked once and I hadn't changed anything that I noticed.,

Im sure the log wont help, but here is one anyway

I ran the wow repair tool, I also cleared all 4 or 5 of the cache locations and reinstalled HB into a new and different folder deleting the old version before hand.

the only thing I havent tried was a complete delete of wow and re-install.

I havent changed anything with the Antiirus software . perhaps I need to recite the alphabet backwards or something
