Ran the bot last night, today it's not working...

Can't seem to get past "Logging in..."

Only thing i changed between now and then was installing a new SSD Hard drive. This SSD was a 2ndary drive - not the one that wow or HB was installed on. Shouldn'y really make a difference.

My key hasn't expired yet.
I've tried re-installing a clean HB.
Tried rebooting several times.
Tried dx11 AND dx9
Using windowed mode.
Using 32-bit client.
Running both as admin.
Tried Deleting HonorBuddy/Settings Folder
Tried uninstalling .NET and C++ Redistrib -> deleting hellbuddy folder -> reboot -> run HB pre-req wiz to reinstall .net and C++ -> clean hell buddy install in a new location

I'm out of ideas.

[23:22:54.530 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.6663.523 started.

Hi, guys,

You all have just shut down Honorbuddy ungracefully, and corrupted its settings. There are plenty of ways to get into this state. Also, ARelog or HBrelog can aggravate this problem.

To get going,
just delete your Honorbuddy/Settings/ directory, and relaunch Honorbuddy. You should be off-and-away after this.

cheers,

Tried that already, forgot to add it to the list of things i tried. Just added it. This would have theoretically been solved by a clean install as well. Regardless i tried both the clean install and deleting settings folder on seperate occasions.

Anyways, still not working..

Any other ideas?

Just tried deleting all HB related material (.net, C++, HB folder) and reinstalling everything with HB folder in new location. Added it to the list.

Still no luck.

Got the same problem and have tried everything suggested above. If anyone has any luck fixing this, please share with the class :)

If you cant get past loggin in then you probably need to forward port 5031 on your router.

try this

Step 1) Open a command prompt (Start -> Run, or Win Key + R, and type "cmd" then press Enter)
Step 2) Run the following commands, and record the output of them all.

pathping auth3.buddyauth.com > C:\PathPingDiag Auth3.txt
pathping auth2.buddyauth.com > C:\PathPingDiag Auth2.txt
pathping buddyauth.com > C:\PathPingDiag Auth1.txt

Step 3) Attach these files to your support thread so that we can diagnose any actual network issues.

post your results plz

Hi, Lvlrbojang1es,

From your answers, you've a problem on your end that needs repair.

Rename:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
to:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts-damaged

Then, reboot your machine. You should be off-and-away after this.

cheers,
