I would like to ask for help from fellow botters who are experienced and willing to help. :)
I pushed my limits to max on my current computers and it is time to invest on a new one. As i wrote in the title i wold use it only for botting.

The computer should be able to handle 8, but possibly 10 bots.
As i checked some similar threads, my choice on CPU should be AMD, and I will need 8gb RAM.
I am interested what would be the most cost effective setup for my needs?

I cant say exact part names off the top of my head but for example
AMD FX 6300 $148 (6 cores - 3.5ghz) - Note: You can go cheaper and still be ok, or even go intel i3/i5 which cost more.
MB: Go as cheap as you can, ($70) you only need 2x slots for ram and a graphics card spot. Even onboard could do it.
Ram: Cheapest brand name ram ($45)
GPU: I'm not the best expert on what wow needs but my card sits on like 1-2% usage when im running 5 bots on lowest etc. so onboard or something cheap again.

RAM is your main concern, each bot uses anywhere from 180-400mb depending on what its doing or where it is etc. so make sure you have enough.

After a bit research i came up with this (not sure if everything is compatible, thats why i need an expert ^^)

CPU: AMD FX 6300
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO
MOBO: AsRock 970 Extreme3
GPU: ASUS EAH4650/DI/512MD2/A
RAM: KINGMAX 12288MB DDR3 1333MHz TRIKIT
Pow.Supp.: CHIEFTEC CTG-500-80PB 500W OEM
HDD: SEAGATE 250GB Barracuda
DVD: SAMSUNG SH-118AB/BEBE

Cpu as suggested, Mobo i didnt found better, there may be cheaper, GPU is not important for bots + i already have that.

It would cost me around $490-510
Any thoughts/suggestion about it? Can it run 10 bots easily?

im botting 8 accounts atm 8G Ram, i7 2600k shitty graphic card doesnt really matter, im about to upgrade to 16g ram and a SSD to put Os/Honorbuddy/Wow on. Would probaly be avaible for around 12-15 bots? If not i just need to get me a i7 3770k card , Just check around for cheap prices imo. Gl happy computer finding!

On my main PC im currently botting with 12 bots + i can watch movies+browse net. With 13-14 bots it is very unstable with lot of wowerror, due to lack of memory, which i plan to upgrade in it.

Main PC:
i7-860 2.9GHz
4x2gb ddr3 1600Mhz Ram (8gb totally)
nVidia GTX470 2gb
Adata 64gb ssd (OS intalled on it)
Gigabyte s1156 GA-P55A-UD3

Win7 64bit Ultimate
Its a miracle that with 8gb ram i can run 12bots.(using CleanMem)

When i bought it, i wanted for mainly gaming, but now it is a botmachine :P

Do you guys bot on virtual machines + *** with this amount of bots? Isn't this needed to keep everything a bit safe?
I have an old dualcore e8200, 4gb ram and had insane probs getting 2 bots running through virtualbox and a ***.
Not sure how many bots i should be able to run on this. Any tips?

If it was me I would say a AMD 8320 would be great for multiple bots, while the fx 6300 would do it the cost between the 8 and 6 core is negligible and bench marks show AMD multiple cores perform really well in heavy load situations.

As mentioned above me to the 8 cores would be great for multiple VM's if you needed it.

If u spent more than 500 for 10 bots it doing it wrong

And 6100
8gig ram
Random mb
Vertex 4 ssd 64 gb
Random video are 9800 gtx / 4480 or better
500w powersupply
Piece of wood and 6 screws to mount it to

Under 500 total retail && under 350 if u buy sales = 10 bots

Vm = bad lest u have a set of detracted v pn's and then still not very bright idea

BliZz logs CPUid vms still report that hash to blizz

Thank you very much for your setup recommendation Reviir, soon im gonna check the prices in the stores for the best price.
Btw i have "chosen" ASUS EAH4650/DI/512MD2/A, because my brother just bought a new video card and he gave it his older one for my purpose.

I dont use VMs, personally i dont think it can prevent a ban, just a waste of resource. But maybe im wrong.

What about cooling? i bet your cpu will get very hot?

What about these build-in gpu's these days?
On cpu with intel and built in on motherboard for amd.

Can this pull alot of bots and what about heat?

Id love to build a micro ATX computer which is very quiet!

Intel I5 3570 has GMA HD 4000 for example.

AMD motherboard has HD4250
(ASRock 880GM-LE FX
(RAID, Gb-LAN, VGA, Sound, ?ATX))

I have 10 Vmware Setups on 1 PC with 10 different IP's running all up 15 bots. In the past ive had 2 accounts banned out of 15 while them 2 where on the same IP and VM PC the other ones have been running non stop for a while now. If you say they can check your CPUID, thats not true.

Why haven't my other accounts been banned.
Why where they not banned straight up with the 2 that was.
Why did my collage room mate get banned while we was on same router and IP and does not bot.

Blizzard say they can do this and that. But really they do it too scare you away from botting, Anyone can write anything in a TOS.

What they can and do is decided on the GM .

1. Scan by IP Address
2. Scan by Hardware ID
3. Check Report Status by other players. If you have over 50+ reports then yes.

Auto ban Im 50/50 with that, Could be there but I don't believe there is one. Maybe for Battle Grounds since that is flooded with bots.

My 2 cents from botting for 7 years as a side company.
