Strange problem with paypal accs linking

Today i decided to get one more mule account to store and sell stuff from. So i got a new EU acc and tried link ym existing paypal account that i alraedy have linked to two mule accounts. To my surprise, there was an error message, saying there is an issue and i should contact support. So i did, joined the live chat and a GM told me, that YOU CAN ONLY ADD ONE PAYPAL ACC TO A bNET ACC. At this point i was like "DAFUQ?".. because i already have more accs attached to the same paypal. Obviously it is buggy, did you guys have similar problems? Up until a minute ago, i thought there is no limitation to this..
 
well, that seems to be implying that you already have a paypal acc associated to the d3 acc.
semantics make a big difference on that one.
 
Look, i have 2 accounts and the same paypal attached to them. I thought there wasn't any limit to that. Turns out you can't have more than 1.. Okay, i get that, but why in hell do i have 2 already, when this shouldn't even be possible?

GM Volkexas here again, this is just a quick summary of what we spoke about in the web chat together :)

It is intended that only (1) PayPal account can be attached to a battle.net, so there shouldn't be any battle.net accounts sharing the same PayPal.

This might have been possible in the past although now, not even a Game Master has the power to add the same PayPal to multiple battle.nets.

Sorry for any problems it caused !

Sad, i had used the same paypal on 2 different accounts, but i removed one, and i was thinking of attaching it again, but after this msg i think it wont be possible :(
 
Yeah, looks like that. I am thinking tho, that there is a way(not fully legal, but possible) to make it work on a number of accounts. I think there is some "reaction time" for this setting to take effect. Maybe it is possible to attach more accounts, but you have to do it simultaneously or something.
 
well, dunno, i still have both my US and EU mules attached to the same paypal.
it might be that! different servers, not a problem, same server, no can do.
 
in my opinion it should be possible to add one paypal acc. to more than one bnet account. i have linked a couple bnet. accounts to one paypal. but for now i am getting the same error message when i want to add my paypal acc. to an new bnet acc.
but this should be a bug because i am not even able to add a fresh new paypal account that has not been linked to any bnet acc. yet. i contacted the live chat support too, they told me like the same thing... "maintance tomorrow maybe should fix that... etc." hope it will...
 
i always thought the limit was 2, i dont see what the problem is

Yeah, support told me they will be looking into it, and by they i mean PayPal. So, we got to wait..
 
I had that, cost me 3-4 weeks of waiting for a new cc to attach to clean new pp account, meanwhile. Ingenious blizzard tech support wanna-bes instructed me to remove my old pp from all my previous account, which in later turn made RMAH inaccessible to me with that PP, because appreantly it was blacklisted... for being awesome..!
 
Damn, this is not acceptable at all.. They promised me to fix it tomorrow, said paypal had to clean it up and i will be able to attach whatever pp i want to my acc..
 
Yeah, turns out it was an issue with paypal and they are the ones responsible for fixing it. I was told by blizz representatives that i have to wait a week more :)
