Strange char color

hi everyone, i started to use GB recently and yesterday, after about 2hs in twilight highlands, the char turned all red i was thinking for some debuffs from a fight but it wasnt, i tried to change spec maybe it was a talent proc (i'm using a DK, i don't have a clue about that class tho) but all my tries didn't change anything, i tried to suicide (a bug maybe), i changed gear.....still nothing. after a while i decided to log off for the day, today i logged on and all was back to normal but after about 3mins it turned back to red again . i don't really know what is going on but i'm starting to have some doubts about that, maybe something from blizz . Did anyone had this kind of thing? or something similar?

P.S: with "char all read" i dont mean the miniature for the repairs but actually the real char

In increasing order of likeliness...

• Deathwing
  Prior to Deathwing flying over, the world gets a reddish hue like someone has placed red cellophane across your monitor. Then, everything catches on fire, and if you die as a result of this, you get the [Stood in Fire] achievement
  
• Video drivers
  If you have recently upgraded your video drivers, this could be the problem. Try rolling them back, and see if the problem goes away.
  
• Hardware problem
  Sadly, from the symptoms you describe, this seems to be the most likely cause. Maybe you're lucky and its just a loose video cable--might check that both ends are securely fastened to monitor and computer.

If the problem 'goes away' after you shut down WoW, it can still be a driver or hardware problem. Can you test it for a while with other DX9 games, or maybe try WoW in OpenGL mode (you can't use Honorbuddy this way), but it may help determine the cause of the problem.

Although it is possible its something Bliz did, it is highly unlikely.

after i encounter some of those red drakes the fly around in twighlight my toon turns a lil red as well i dont know what its from but it doesnt cause any problems

It happens in Twilight Highlands, so I wouldn't call it "random" yet I can't tell you the conditions it happens under.

chances are its the stood in fire achivement, i was botting my mage and my toon turned completely red. i too was like "WTF?" then flames started shooting out of the ground and i died, and got the achievement. chances are whats happening is your in an area where its about to happen, but since you fly away so quickly, your out of there before you die from it.
