So I read some of the articles about how to become a store developer and most of the wiki articles and rules seemed to be based around honorbuddy instead of archebuddy but it listed a person to email to apply for access to be a store developer. I wrote an email a little less than week ago now but I haven't heard anything back from them. I know that the store versions act differently than the local versions so I want to be able to make sure I'm programming for the store version.

Any of you other developers know how long it takes to get a response? Thanks!

I've still never gotten a reply from the email listed in the honorbuddy developer guide on how to become a store developer. No responses here either, I'm not sure how to proceed at this point. If someone knows an alternate email for contacting the buddy store admin for store access, please contact me in PM..?

Hi and welcome! :) You've became a store developer once they have accepted your request to join "Community Developer" group, thus giving you some extra functionality in BuddyStore (Developer panel) where you're able to create new products etc.

The only major difference between store and the local plugins plugins, is that those run under a single AppDomain, regardless of instances and that's where you have to be careful, if you're to support multi-client.

Also, before submitting a new product, always first submit a BETA version of it, then test it out as despite it might work fine locally, it might not on store.
To submit a product, zip up your solution and a working directory. Make sure to exclude bin and obj folders.

That's pretty much how it all works, if you have any more questions, feel free to PM me :)
