I don't know how it works before a major patch, still kinda new, but in the last few weeks I got 2 accounts perm-banned, another 2 accs 72h and still have 7 more up. 1 of the perm-banned accs ran for 40 days straight while some didn't even last a week. So yeah, probably they want to do a clean-up right before 5.2 and it would be wise to lay low until patch goes live and they got other shit to attend to.
