Hopefully, but it's possible they have disabled rbgs too. We'll have to look at the release notes when they come.
 
this statement is nonsense. the wiki before it was edited yesterday clearly said the exception to the no arena rule was combat routines because you still have to control your character to use these. i hope it helps avoid another banwave but I think you might as well just be honest instead of spinning this crock of shit about arena never being allowed
 
Why not just update the battleground botbase instead of thinking about getting rid of it. Its been utter crap for quite awhile now and i bet we wouldnt have half the complaints we see if it got some decent updates and more user control to it.

Take a look at millz version for example, its miles better.
 
It's good to see you apologize for the censorship, and my faith in your communication and interaction towards your own users has been somewhat restored. As a side note, I urge you to reconsider the infraction made on me for letting my voice be heard for showing a different perspective. Naturally, I speak not only for me, but also others that might have had infractions due to misperceptions .:confused:

It was never about Blizzard complaining. Again, Arenas where a no go area since Honorbuddy was released. You can search the forum about Arena questions if you do not believe me.

Just because something ran, it did not made it intended by us. We now have taken the needed steps to actually make it very clear once and forever.
 
Yeah cause the guy next to you knows you're botting in Mythic when you're doing all the movement.... AREAS you can fully automate f'in stupid

Better to be invisible to blizzard than banwaves every few months.

I hate healing by myself. WoW is so crappy w/o HB.

I will now train a litte bit healing but if I dont get it, i will risk my account again and bot again ;)

Yeah, because no one from Blizzard ever comes here to check on us and these PUBLIC FORUMS. So please explain to me how you feel you are invisible at all. And you can bet your ass to expect a banwave every few months in order to keep people from getting reward before they come out with new content and close the seasons out.

Invisible as in "not beeing the person of interest".

If Blizz has no reason to ban us, they wont. Its just a question of money
 
using a bot to automate your PvP is literally the same thing as using a hack in CS:GO. sure you have an edge and win but at the end of the day you're fucking garbo at the game and you don't deserve any shit talking rights at all because YOU'RE GARBO AT THE GAME. then you're furious and upset when you have to play legit and wonder why you're so fucking bad loool

honestly all the Arena botters upset and furious about their routines being disabled is absolutely hilarious. it's like a CS:GO hacker taking their hacks to ESEA client and getting rocked by their anti-cheat. 10/10 much bamby tears.

l2play the game and actually win naturally and i gaurantee you will go much farther.

PvE raid botters are ALMOST as pathetic as PvP botters too. who the fuck uses a program to automate their rotation.... I can understand a disabled person needing it but if you're not disabled and you have to have software to perform a rotation of spells on a PvE monster then you're absolutely garbo at WoW as well lolol

Your name says it all... Why are you even on these forums? You sound like some hardcore straight edge legit player. Go back to the legit world with all the other sheeple. If your ethics entail you to want to derail others then my ethics feel sorry for you taking a game that seriously.

The grammatical errors in this sentence makes me sad for the future of humanity.

On that note, is Honorbuddy going to be renamed to something other than a Battleground automation software through rebranding or just stay the same? I ask because I didn't receive a ban ironically. I used it up til the auth dropped me off. I used a custom routine, profile for Battlegrounds and Death Knights.

PvE or GrindBuddy maybe?
 
I think this is a good idea, the less noticeable the bot is, the better. CRs in PVE were a secret, there were tons of people on reddit saying how their guildies were banned and they had no idea (assuming they're truthful about that). Arena CRs and kickbots and such were happening in a hypercompetitive environment where every action was under the microscope. That said, I haven't arenaed since BC and my style of botting was to grind archy or fishing or whatever-- after this 6 month ban I probably can't ever bot again without putting my entire account in danger (unless someone has a crude color-recognition fishbot that still works or something) and the risk isn't worth the reward.
 
Cheating is cheating. If you want to stop automatic movement in battlegrounds fine. But let us still use the CR. No one is going to know that its a bot if we are doing the movement. I usually move myself and let the CR do its thing because I am old and rusty with the keys. Also I dont have time to set up 500 macros. Basically all the CR is doing is running the macros for me so I dont see why thats a problem.

But again cheating is cheating. If you use the bot in any form you are a cheater so why limit the bot? If its capable of doing these things the user should be held accountable if he/she gets caught using it right?

The original problem with the battleground was that the bot was doing in the movement and it wasnt randomly doing things. So if you see 3 guys do the same exact thing they are obviously bots. However, since then there have been modifications to the CRs to allow it to do different things. Now I havent played in a few months due to finances. So maybe its gotten worse and is more detectable?

If the player does the movement theres no way it could detect it. You'd have to be a GOD of WoW to know that someone is using a CR. Ive been playing for 10 years and I spot bots based on their movement actions not their combat routines. Remember, macros and special keyboards like my G510 can do similar things as the CR. So its basically the same thing.

I trust the developer to know more than the players. Maybe closing this forum off to non paying people is a good idea. This way its private and secrets are not revealed.
