Starting Locations in PVP

Hello All -

I would like to point out the starting "areas" in pvp and their positions where botters just pile up at.

1. IoC - worst one ever - botters just pile up ontop of eachother here because there is no starting waypoint near the door where everyone else is. This needs to be fixed. Please add in anywhere from 4-6 different points that are randomly chosen to stand at until the battle begins.

If there is a plugin, or some MOD that can help this that I am missing please by all means let me know.

Agreed - I have witnessed over the last few months where I can easily pick out botters because of pathing. I am not sure if there is a means of changing this up by adding randomizing for certain areas to make it less obvious but it does concern me. As an example in Alterac Valley there is a spot close to the Alliance area pinch point that I can watch closely and can count how many people are botting because instead of staying on the road and follow it, it goes around a tree/fence barely staying on the path.

Akassaw is right about the positioning in starting areas as well.

Yes in AV it's bad cause it doesn't folow the path. If someone asks me I what i'm doing I say i'm checking behind the stuff, but still it's bottish why go around shit like that? Stay on the path...

WSG has this issue. one stuck place is at the GY and the other is at the starting area trying to jump down but gets stuck walking into catapult whole game (ally)

i been botting a lot of pvp and honorbuddy is great , i have noticed other botters piling up on the same path as me , particularly when its a CTA weekend .

over the last week i have picked out 2 botters , in AB , 1 piling up and we followed the exact same path , the other was using a follow and fight method , he would follow 1 toon (a friend of mine) and fight when horde were in range , it went as far as finding him across the map to follow him , i told my friend not to report him and try whispering him, of course there was no reply lol

can you guys recommend any pluging or any other profiles i can use to randomize my path a little , i have been looking around the forums but some of the plugins etc i am unsure as to exactly what they do

i did whisper the guy that was stacking up on me and told to him what he was doing , at which point i did a stop and start on the bot , dont know what he did , but our paths seperated

do use pvp bot or bg bot beta?

in pvpbot u can create ur own profiles
in bg bot beta ... no chance, this has to be changed by the HB team (oh now i remember i want to report some stuckpoints in Arathi Basin)

ye i use the bgbot , i didnt know i could do my own profiles in pvpbot , i will start on that tonight , thank you

Only thing we can't change is the point where we stand before BG begins. in either BG bot or PvP bot. AFAIK. Would be nice to have a [Beforestart][/Beforestart] so your not standing right next or on top of others. The PvP bot still, at least for me, runs back and forth and into the gate and gets stuck on it quite a bit. The BG bot doesn't do this but it does stand where other HB users stand if they are in there.

Other than that, yeah, you can make Hotspots where you want and draw boxes to find the best place to fight where you want. Which is nice since there is still a MAJOR problem running into the Horde keep on that damn Brazier on the right hand side on top of the hill...you know which one ;q
