[Standalone] D3 Starter - Start multiple D3's from the same folder

It's worse with an SSD... size limitation is a massive factor when it's nearly $1/gb.
 
im running 2 bots on 2 computer. lol. still have others that i cant start. argh! and i do not want to copy the diablo folder. are there any other ways?
 
I managed to de-compile and attain the source, also managed to make clients launch (not the launcher) however the first client launches fine, but any subsequent ones lockup how they normally would if you launched them normally with the -launch argument.

I assume the process needs patching a different address or just in a different way, and I have no clue as to where to start with this, however someone else might.

If you have expertise in this area and a spare 15 minutes I can send you the source (hopefully Apoc won't mind...) and you can see if you can get it running for the rest of us :D
 
the thing is even manually clicking the diablo III.exe opens the launcher

I doubt they would still have it floating about, unless it's idling in their PM box.

I have the source anyway, running it through VS I just have no experience with memory addresses.

Edit: It actually works, the 2nd, 3rd etc clients just take a long time (for me at least) to begin to respond,

edit: on second try. somehow it doesnt work. the 2nd instances cant load up

did u use apoc starter by its own or with yar? im using it with YAR

Just wait for it, can take like 5 minutes for me, not sure about others.
 
Yeah good work!

Second client and third etc load but when you try to start a game they lock up. So more work needed but progress is progress!
