The bot moves to where it's supposed to pick up a quest, but just stands there.. and there's no ! over the questgiver..
The bot says it's waiting for an object to appear. Tried restarting HB, tried reloading UI, and walking far away to reload UI.. is WoW bugged or HB? =)

after that, from your wow launcher run the wow repair tool to make sure your copy of wow is fine and complete.

Thanks for that suggestion, I have cleared both HB and WoW caches, and done the repair tool from the launcher. Then I came to the office (so I was offline for 30-45min) and discovered the same behavior, still stalled at the questgiver "[07:12:45.062 D] Activity: Waiting for object to appear to pick up quest from"...

just pickup the quest manually, Warn Stoneplow - Quest - World of Warcraft

then start the bot again.

I would if the questgiver offered it ;-)
From my research it seems there might be some pre-requisite quests that haven't been completed. When I get some time to run around the world manually, I'll check on those...
Lately I've been using the bot in the background while I'm at work (shhhh!!!!) so I can't really tend to it if it gets stuck. I just check the behavior, stop/start, reloadUI and restart, if it doesn't fix it I post the log and switch the bot to a different toon. So far, all the stuck points have been the same spots, some just require a nudge, others are known Kick's issues. This one I don't think I have any other toons quite at that point yet so I can't say if it's a common stuck point.

Since all of my bot toons are continuations of toons I have been manually leveling, it's entirely possible that there's some pre-requisite from a questline that should have started ages ago that weren't done..

When it says "Waiting for object to appear" is that waiting for the ! to appear or is there something besides the NPC that is supposed to give the quest? Because there's an NPC standing there, but no ! over it's head.. and no ! anywhere nearby.. (and yes, I cleared caches etc)

im not sure, check the quest comments thats why i linked the quest in wowhead.

So it looks like there are prerequisites that go back quite a ways (like two levels, maybe more) to Valley of the Four Winds... According to one of the comments, there are three quests that have to be done before this one will show up.. I can't get the first one because there are pre-reqs that have to be done for IT to be picked up.. Any way to force the bot to just move on? or, go back and run everything from, say, 85?

Are the quest pre-reqs a part of the questing function in HB or the profile (Kick's)?

Thanks!

PS Here's the comment I'm referring to...
Since this quest is pretty elusive, I'd like to share the (presumably cumulative) circumstances under which I was able to obtain it:

- Training and Discipline was completed in Valley of the Four Winds.
- In the House of the Red Crane was completed in Krasarang Wilds.
- The Waters of Youth was completed in Krasarang Wilds.
- The Mantid invasion event has commenced, but no quests (such as The Swarm Begins) were picked up.

In the case above, I was able to pick up either Hope Springs Eternal or Warn Stoneplow (these are mutually exclusive). I chose the former, but after handing it in, Warn Stoneplow was no longer available. Presumably it's the case vice versa as well.

im not sure, remove the any extras quest from your logs, and try clearing your caches again.

after that, from your wow launcher run the wow repair tool to make sure your copy of wow is fine and complete.

make sure you restart wow and honorbuddy after its complete.

if your still having issues where its trying to pickup that quest, the only thing i can suggest is to report it in kicks thread.
