To everyone wondering how to disable / change the InactivityTimer; please read the release notes.
Here you go :
Code:
ADDITION - InactivityDetector added, can be set to log you out and/or quit wow if stuck for too long. ( configure it in * StyxSettings.xml )

There are like 3-4 people so far that have asked about the styx error while starting up HB, will anybody please help us? does not happen with 1.9.5.5, have netframe 3.5 installed

did you do a clean install?

It's not because nothing has changed in my profile, only HB and it works with 1.9.5.5 its just 1.9.5.7 that it doesn't work with O.o

can you attach the profile, also what level are you?

Yes clean install right out of the folder. first time experiencing this with HB since the HB1

To all the people with the styx error on startup, rename the directory you extracted HB to! It really solved this problem for me. I renamed the folder to HonorBuddy2.

But to the developers, I am about to get crazy about one single bug which destroys my whole botting experience. I cant report the bug as the bugtracker is not working and I want you to notice my problem, which is actually a very bad one.

The bot often stops fighting by random or just runs into a mob and then stands there.
The debug log is spammed with this message

[8:00:12 PM:296] Activity: Combat
[8:00:12 PM:528] Activity: Combat
[8:00:12 PM:767] Activity: Combat
[8:00:12 PM:989] Activity: Combat

The normal log just says
Pull Blacklisted

This, and the fact that I seem to be ignored with my bugs, drives me crazy.

Facts, version 1.9.5.7, CC ShadowStrike 2.0.0.3, .netFramework 3.5 installed, Windows 7 as OS
German WoW client, ingame settings correctly, USA keyboard as standard.

The SOTA problem can easily be solved with another profile. I've made my own which works perfectly.

what install directory? there has never been an install directory for honorbuddy

do you mean the folder in which HB was extracted too? ive changed it to HonorBuddy and Honorbuddy and still same thing. There is no installer in the rar folder i have downloaded

Uhh yes I mean the extract directory... I renamed it to HonorBuddy2 and it worked.

Still this goddamn starting up problem. Is there any other ways around it?

I Noticed several things while running the 68+ alliance profile posted by Bossland. Not sure if it's the profile or HB on some of these and since the build isn't added in bug tracker, I'll post here.
1. the bot does not interact well with quest givers that have multiple quests, or any time a quest needs to be selected from the first dialog screen the npc puts up. this seems to only come into account when the bot is attempting to turn in a quest
2. HB needs to be restarted if a hunter runs out of ammo. It never seems to work correctly again, after ammo is purchased.
3. The bot continues to attack creatures in an area where there are no quest items, in questing mode. and the "kill between hotspots" is not checked.

I have a log and would love to post it, but would like to wait for the bug reporting site to be up and working.

Should I just wait, or post log, Developers only please, any others need not apply to my log question.

Even renaming folder into HonorBuddy2, i still get "The type initalizer for 'Styx.Logic.Pathing,Navigator' threw an exception when i try to log in

Those of you with startup issues; what directory do you have the root HB folder in? Chances are; you're leaving it in a protected folder that windows restricts read/write priveleges to. (Honorbuddy doesn't employ any security contracts with the OS to request read/write privs. Which is why we suggest putting it in a public folder that Windows does not monitor.)

Sooner or later we'll eventually switch to an isolated storage model, to avoid these issues.

Lastly; make sure you always run HB as admin (if it's not already forced).

Edit; you should be able to use the bugtracker now. There's an issue with it not updating permissions correctly when adding new builds. (We need to manually enable the ability for users to report bugs.)

There's no subprofile for level 13+

I know there were more quests for it to do in elewyn forest but it wouldn't accept any quests or do the objectives, just spam that

Change the MaxLevel of the 'last' subprofile to 13 then.

Alright i changed it, it seems to be working so far ill post again if i run into any problems.

Code:

What is wrong? Here's what i put in the profile:
Code:
<PickUp QuestName="Grape Manifest" QuestId="3905" GiverName="Milly Osworth" GiverId="9296" />
<Objective QuestName="Grape Manifest" QuestId="3905" Type="CollectItem" ItemId="11125" CollectCount="1" />
<TurnIn QuestName="Grape Manifest" QuestId="3905" TurnInName="Brother Neals" TurnInId="952" />

Thanks in advance...

Also is there an alternative to <RunTo X="" Y="" Z="" /> ?[/QUOTE]

yeah i figured but before i added the objective part, (just pickup and turnin) it still had this error = (

I still see no answer to what the fuck the xml file is for /sigh

It's for developers writing Custom Classes and Plugins. It's an API documentation file used by Visual Studio (the Integrated Development Environment) to provide us with helpful explanations to programming stuff that the HB devs have built.

You probably don't need it.
