I went to bed, I guess right before the tripwire.. Woke up and went to work, came home and started my bots up as I didn't have time before work. So, what I'm wondering is, is HB just straight up detected, and they're just waiting for a mega banwave and my accounts are done for?

If so, if I transferred a couple characters of importance over to a different bnet account, would the bnet account, that is legitimate, that I'm transferring to be a target to be banned after transferring the characters?
Kind of feel fucked now.
 
Okay, as long as I can keep some of these characters on a legitimate account I'm not too upset by this.

HB isn't straight up detected, otherwise you wouldn't be able to auth at all... from what I understand there is a heightened risk to botting than there was before the warden update, but nothing concrete and nothing is certain.

Yes your toons you xfer to a new WoW account will be fine, if history is my judge (I did this many times when I felt the heat on one account, such as getting a 72hr suspension... I would xfer my main to something new and continue botting on the previously suspended account until I got perma'd).

Remember, you can almost always get a perma ban reverted to a 72hr ban if it's the account first offense

How exactly can u do that ? never had a problem with my account ... but in case i will, i want to have fast answers for them !

You submit a ticket where you claim ignorance, never admitting to botting, and act offended that they would ban you from a product you paid for. That usually works for me.
 
so when transferring a toon to a brand new account are there rules? like the account has to be in the same exact name as the original account?? anything else?
 
Hi, just curious is it the case of having to invent a new way around warden or is warden a lot smarter and the accounts sacrificed to see the changes are being massive ? cause tbh im sure there would be a lot of people willing to submit a few accounts to test theories on to help this awesome site :) I being one , This is a community afterall and not just when something goes wrong let hb fix it and when all is going well just ignore the work hb has done ,
 
Not screwed but maybe fondled. Not detected. However it is still unknown exactly how the new system works and it will take a bit of time not only analyzing this but also envisioning the way forward with the new methods in mind. You probably not get any indepth info on it.

How can you say that, when raphus said yesterday it will take atleast 30 days to even know anything about it?.

It is not a good idea to state assumptions, as facts, to your userbase
 
Xarian....if Tony states its not detected its because UNLIKE you he is informed by the powers that be what is EXACTLY happening. The 30 days window is not to know what they have done but it may take for instance a major rewrite of the code for the bot to get COMPLETELY around the new warden parameters.

Next, if it was DETECTED the authorization servers would not have been reopened. Trust me no bot provider wants a banwave of their bot. It's a game changer with most bots.

Also please note Tony is a Super Moderator....you might want to read that part first before opening mouth.

If it were a fact that they now know it is undetected, dont you think they would make a formal announcement to let ALL of their userbase know, rather then let everyone run around wondering?

It is not the first time that some of the official team state incorrect information, or outright lie to the community on their own forum. I have been here for 4 years, i know how they work. Do not take everything they say as the truth or a fact, atleast not before there is a formal announcement.
 
When i never get banned before and only botting to use CRs with the bot, than i get instant perma ban or maybe just like a 72h suspension?
 
Xarian.....Again I tell you and you should be able to rationalise this yourself. If the bot was DETECTED the servers would not be reopened. There is no way they would KNOWINGLY do that. They have nothing to gain and everything to lose. I have been here since day 1 so that don't impress me. Tony is in the inner circle and knows what is happening.
 
Bimballa.....it's a crap shoot really but if you get perma-banned you can question it and play stupid and generally get it reduced to a 72hr suspension.

Not the point of my post. The said they do NOT know. I never said it WAS detected. You are not reading what i am saying. It is not right to state it is not detected, during a period where you do not know whether it is, or not. Be honest, and say you do not know just like raphus did. If things have changed in 24 hours, then great, i will still critisize the fact that there is still no formal announcement that the new warden update is cleared(based on tony's response which indicated it is, which i do not believe)

The PR of this team has been horrible for years, i am critic towards it in the hopes they will improve, dont hate me for wanting to make this a better place.

Damn Xarian....THEY DO KNOW. This is why the servers were reopened. You are missing my point. I am telling you that the fact that the servers are reopened means the one thing they do know is that it's not an out and out detection. Stop with the darn conspiracy theories.

Without speculation but using basic commonsense....

Generally when we have changes the devs are able to rework things in a relatively short period of time, generally 24-48hrs. When we get some sort of update it takes a bit longer generally 4 to 7 days. If they are telling us 30 days then to me it translates into they see where things are going with Bliz scans and believe that more detail work needs to be done to prevent future issues.

Again...the fact that the servers are up means it was not detected as HB would not want a banwave as they lose customers and receive damage reputation. I can say with 100% certainty they have analyzed the code already and this is why they reopened the servers because they could see that its not detection but some kind of scan which could potentially become problematic and MAY pick up some botters if not careful.

As for me I stopped botting because I don't know what this scan is about and hence I don't know how to avoid it using the bot.

This right here. The Buddy moderators don't have a great record of knowing what's going on with all aspects of their bots.

And if your account gets banned in a banwave, you have about 0 chance of getting the account back. That's one area that Blizzard doesn't show a lot of leniency in.

If HB is detected, expect to lose every account you bot on since the tripwire went active. They'll have so many accounts they'll be banning, it's very unlikely that they'll be going back and trying to tie all secondary accounts together as well.
