Sometimes SotA works wonderful, sometimes not

I have no idea why the random behaviour in sota. So I start as horde, and we are attacking, it works flawless, it figures out when gates are down and everything nice.

Then we are gonna defend, it wont use the portals to zone in between gate, and for some reason, it goes straight for yellow gate and stands there.

Any solutions?

Same thing for me.. Wish there was a good SOTA profile because it is GREAT XP.
