Something weird with destructibles (Stuck!)

The bot would previously melee swing any destructibles in the way...
Since a few minuttes ago mine has started doing the casting animation when attempting to destroy destructibles.
Is this a local bug or are other people experiencing this?
 
Happening to me as well since the update whenever I run into a destructible it just stands there and keeps doing the casting motion
 
I'm turning my bot off until this is fixed. Too obvious and too weird. Easy way of detection imo.
 
Have you guys tested this issue with the latest Trinity?

Current iteration is .235

Yes. I'm using .235 as we speak. I'm doing a normal rift (the map is the ghost prison map) and its doing it on (almost) every door. Just sits there doing the casting animation but casts nothing so the destructible never breaks so the animation just keeps looping with no cast.

The gizmo in question is titled 'Rusty door' but I don't think it's gizmo related. More like the spell id is wrong or something like that because it is trying to cast but nothing occurs. If I intervene and press a cast button manually the bot resumes normal behavior until the next door.

Does it say in the DB window or in log what it's trying to cast against the door?

You could always post a log from when this happens for someone to look at. It might be one that they missed.

Is there a lot of doors and objects you're having this issue with?

It could be trying to use a skill you dont have or something.

Just verified it does appear to be door specific. Next rift different map it got stuck on a 'Barricade.' See image:

I just tested and indeed it worked:

I was initially using 'Acid Cloud' as the primary attack with 'Wall of Death' as secondary. I passed the confused bot and swapped 'Plague of Toads' for 'Acid Cloud' and tada it broke the door and continued on.

Looks like that's the issue though I have no idea how to programatically address it.

So if I want to not use Plague of Toads and instead use Acid Cloud in the primary slot what do I need to do to fix this? I think if the code said use primary slot instead of an actual action it would be better but what do I know since I have no clue how to code anything.

yeah you're right, it looks like there was a mistake with casting acid cloud on destructible, it was set to cast toads instead. line ~1520

You will need to replace:

<path to your DB install>\Plugins\Trinity\Components\Combat\Abilities\WitchDoctorCombat.cs

with the one attached to this post.

Just used Ultraedit to find the file and line number.. After that it made perfect sense. The if/thens are paired.. It was obvious when I saw it in the file. Thanks xzjv.

I did what you said but then I could not find trinity in the plugins and I have no idea how to get it back. DO I have to uninstall the whole thing then start over? ANy help here would be lovely. I have tried deleting and then repasting trinity in the plugin folder several rimes with no good results.

Any suggestions are help from anybody?

How do I do that fix without my Trinity plugin disappearing from the application as soon as I make that change. Any help would be greatly appreciated because the plague of toads crap makes the WD build loose so much DPS.
