I made a new toon and left him in silvermoon never killed a single mob, never did a single quest, never gathered anything, he has no learned professions. I log in today and he has some experience on the experience bar. How is that possible? Has somebody hacked and logged into my account?

Hi, Rogue Demon,

You probably had 'blue' in the experience bar, rather than purple.

When you log out, you start accumulating credit for 2x experience. The blue bar represents how much of this credit you've earned. The credit will accumulate at a faster rate, if you've logged out in a rest area—such as an inn.

when you run to a city you will get exp from discovering new zones
from human starting zone to SW you will get around the 40-50% exp from lvl 1 to 2
