Ive just been botting on 3 accounts and sending all the gold to my main, and just buying new gear, I've given up on making income. If I get a godly item which is worth $100 on RMAH i will sell it though. No point selling gold imho. Cept maybe to fuel my Spotify account subscription :)
 
I will definitely buy the license for 3 bots, I will keep trying using the monk I have now and equip my barbarian, but i don't know how to build him, as third bot I will lvl another barbarian: P
BTW I actually earn 350k g / h? I have Paragon 25 is it a good ammount for my lvl of paragon?

I'll show my improvements and doubts in this post :P

One more question, Should I update the DB to the last version? i've noticed that when i did my bot farmed slowly and my Gold/Hour dropped drastically.

If some1 know a good combination of profile-plugins-DB version-Combar routine i would thank him!! I'll be usin barbarians and monks as bots :D

Current DB Vers. is fine, in combination with Trinity 1.7.2.2 (most stable version atm.) and this profile: Act 3 Inferno by rrrix

I also think if you manage to stop botting few days be4 banwave hit, you might be saved from getting banned. However, can anyone let me know when banwave is gonna hit? Lol.

This, it really is addicting (but it makes me money so its a win, win!)

All the people who say its not worth botting either
A. Are doing it wrong
or
B. Do not want you to bot because you will hurt their profits (In their minds)

Not true. Only way i see botting is worth is if you sell lvl 100 paragon account for couple hundred dollars. Also if you are lucky, pickup an uber item which sells for few hundred dollars as well. Apart from that, selling gold from farming is not worth the time and power and computer deterioration used. Not to mention the risk of getting banned and losing everything.

If you weigh all those factors into account, for the mere few dollars selling gold, might as well just work at MacDs. I bet you make 2 full days worth of botting out of 1 bot in an hour working at MacDs. Plus you get to get fat.

Its all about how you look at it. I run 6 bots 24/7 and have 6 more bots all geared and ready for when banwaves go out. I make MUCH more off of my investment in just gold alone not to mention items which is where most of the money I make comes from (sold a $250 item this morning). If you were to only run 1 bot, I dont think it would be worth it. However, if you are running enough bots luck will always be on your side with drops. 1 good drop pays for all your bots easily since I only buy cdkeys when they are on sale for $30 and I stock up. I also pay someone to lvl all my accounts to 60 for $2 worth of gold, and I even pay someone to buy all my gear for my bots so I do not have to invest any of my time other than creating the accounts and taking the items off of them to sell. Once cdkeys go on sale again I am going to expand to 12 bots at a time because to me it is worth every penny.

edit: I also have a real job, botting is just a hobby of mine that makes me extra income.
 
true. If you have alot of bots and already have it set up and running, everything is good. The unlucky ones are the ones who only just started botting with few bots and got banned, without even making any profit yet. And yes, like you mentioned, the true money made is in the items. Gold farming itself isnt really worth the money made. The other thing to look at is your computer. The amount of money spent on my gaming rig $2.5k isnt justified to just leave it straining 5+ bots running 24/7.
Just make sure you have already made positive income more then enough to cover for your next batch after banwave hits. Then you will be in the running of making more.
I just cant seem to imagine ppl spending $250 for an item on d3. Lucky we have those rich kids to fuel our needs.

no kidding haha. Every time someone buys a high end item from me I laugh a little because I can not imagine spending money on in game items. But people buy wow accounts and stuff to so it does not surprise me in the least.
 
But i think op needs tips for eu. Items the way to go as well there? Hows income on eu? And if he switches to us, and has no rmag, what can he do then?

Blackmarket right now is selling around .08~ for gold. Still significantly better than EU lol.
 
I'm starting with 2 bots right now, they have been all night slaying mobs! >: ) XDD hope i don't get banned in the next month and can earn enough profit to rebuy accounts and keep boting. I've 3rd account that i'm starting with, but i don't know how i will manage to lvl my bot to 60, cause i have not enough time and will to lvl it xD!
BTW in this 3rd account i have a 5X demon hunter, but i've read on the forum that it sucks at boting...

I will give a chance to boting I think there will be a moment that "Casual Boters" will stop boting and only the "Hardcore ones" will keep doing, then, they will be rich and will buy a ferrari and a house in the beach (XD) :P
