Some things that really need fixing if you want to make TL inconspicuous as possible.

Well some of these spots have been reported weeks ago, some even 20+ days ago with several log reports and we've yet to see any updates.


Still getting consistently stuck on the very same spot in the cliff map that was reported 17 or so days ago:

Regardless of side you spawn at, TL always drives your tank to that very same spot, plenty of logs on the link above.

Also dragon ridge northern spawn is completely useless for anything but artillery, i've never seen TL sucessfuly drive my tank out of the starting area when i end up on the northern spawn, south works fine.

Widepark southern spawn gets you stuck in a building if you end up spawning in the very south. North works fine.

On Airfield western spawn you usualy get stuck driving up a cliff depending on the position you spawn.

Live oaks on the sourthern spawn on a regular(non arti) tank usualy makes you camp next to the base for 2-3 minutes before actualy moving to the battle, usualy get plenty of "WTF is that guy doing sitting at base?" which attacts a lot of unecessary attention.

On Karelia as a regular tank, on both spawns, usualy makes you drive down the main road and then return to the base shortly after and sit there for an extended amount of time, 2-3 minutes after it patrols a bit around it and sometimes ends up spinning around in the same spot, way too much unecessary attention.
As artillery TL just suicides by driving down the center road, while being a suicidal maniac on a regular tank isnt necessairly bad, a ton of impatient players do that, it attracts way too much attention as artillery.

Got a few weeks worth of logs from multiple accounts i can post if needed, but since 95% of these problems occur as the match begins i think they're needed.

Also got plenty of problems with tank wreckages blocking the way rendering TL useless for the rest of the match while it amusingly bumps onto em from every possible angle(or even fall into rivers while doing that, in maps like abbey) but they dont occur as often as the issues mentioned above.

Next patch should not be too far away(rumors say from 2 to 4 weeks.) bringing in 4 reworked maps, and we're still experiencing these issues.

Reworking your software is great but in my humble opinion should never take priority over bug fixing, while i understand from aevitas post that TL cant handle different spawn positions at the moment, you can at the very least get the route in cliff and Karelia fixed.
 
Been 34 days and we've yet to see any changes.


The maps where TL becomes stuck depending on the spawn position arent that bad, all you need is to nudge your tank a little and hell get back on track and TL will function properly.

But for the past month the maps Cliff, Dragon Ridge and Karelia are pretty much unplayable. Dragon Ridge and Karelia need major reworks but all you need to do on Cliff is change the damn pathing on one tiny part of the map, i cannot understand why it hasnt been fixed yet.

I beseech you, please do something, anything!
 
Airfield - left side spawn, it goes to a hill and get stuck there, only moves back when an enemy approaches and TL tries to kill it.

Dragon Ridge - top spawn, when the tank accidentally fall this area, it tries to climb the hill which is unclimable, there is a way out on 1 side but TL seems dont know how to get a route back.

fix is way different from update, you update TL just to make it run but youre not fixing it to make it run correctly.
 
really Tony u just always did update to current game version but no map fix:( please its really bad plus easy to get banned

Both statements are false. There have been various updates to the maps to address these issues in the past (read 10+), they just don't require any client updates; it's all server so you hardly notice.

We're working on full-map meshes, but those take a lot of time (as perhaps some of you with applicable knowledge will know) and can't be done in a week.

And guess what, i just played cliff and it's still bugged. Your post is dated 26th of november...

this was all taken yesterday, it looks like bugged to me T_T
 
The 8.2 update added another unplayable map, bringing the list up to 4 maps.

The changes in redshire now makes TL spin around uncontrolably on the bloody spawn point.

Soon i'll have to stop using TL altogether till a descent update is released.
