So there i was (notice sentence that start out like that never have a good ending) i went to check on my account to see how Bot was doing and notice that i had a mail. so i sit there watch bot for an little and notice that there was another guy botting i mean same exact path this was the second time in two days i run in to him so i stop bot and decied to check to see what item was sold and how much gold i got coming in. man was i wrong i had an mail from this same guy who bot just as much as me if not more threating to report me if i don't stop botting told me that i was using gatherbuddy and even told me the profile i was using twilight highland V3. i was like holy crap the nerves of some people he is complaining and threating to report me for the very same thing he is also doing. so word to the wise men and women be on the look out for those haters or for lack of a better word dosh bags out there this stuff is histerical no dought it will land me a few days suspension if not band my account i will keep you guys posted and safe botting
 
First of all stop using that same profile he is using and make your own or use a different one.
Secondly if you want to avoid a ban for a bit just switch to questing/arch or something so it doesn't look so bad.
Thirdly I hope he gets banned by the GM for being a twat.
 
Those types of people have always and will always be there, your best bet is to use private profiles and report him for harassment. Also lyign low and not botting would be a good idea.
 
it happens man.. i had the samething happen to me the other day.. i was watching my bot and then saw a silly comment in chat. so i decided to make a comment, and someone blurts out " oh so the botter is back at his computer now" but i eventually caught up with this person whose flight patterns were pretty darn exact as mine

i have also made comments to others i've seen botting with a simple comment " there's enough for the both of us" and i got a sure enough comment. some people are very greedy, and most of those people are right here in the forum.
I'm pretty sure if he threatened they probably reported. so might as well start sending spam/ reports there way if ya keep seeing them around.

I mean i always see people botting but i just say to myself , im doing the same. theres always enough for the both of us. might take me longer to fill my bags but oh well... keep the peace..

Yeah i'm going to play it safe and lay low for awhile back to leveling my shaman and druid by hand, which is unheard of. i just wanted the community to be aware that those types of people are out there one and two it just blows my mind i see him botting all the time but hey i'm doing the same thing so what is it i have to complain about ?? when i see him i normally move to hyjal deeploom or something but no not him he straight up reported me incredible thats all i'm saying.

More like it's getting annoying when ur playing legit bgs and 1/4 are bots nowdays. Noone can complain in cheap mats, but 80's in uldum? Your asking to get banned.

Do what? A bot is completely USELESS unless it's a GEARED healer. Just slightly useful then.
BG-Botting is just plain WRONG.

Botting herb/ores don't affect the rest, bg-botting do.
 
Report him for harrasment, tell the GM you dont know what HB is play on that you think its some kind of tool to count how much honor you get in a battle ground.

And stop botting while hes being investigated.

+ its xmas, so bans will be low because blizzard are short staffed ;_)

Of couse there are gonna be people reporting other people botting, less comptetition means less supply and more gold earned.
 
Whats the best way to report a botter? I mean I hate to do such a thing but if the person is clearly abusing the software or is interfering with normal gameplay whats the best way to handle it?

Reporting other botters is against the Forums Rules & Guidelines.

I'm sorry you can't understand full sentences.

As I told the last guy, reporting other botters is against forum rules & guidelines.
