So you got banned.... "what did you do wrong?"

btw I would like to know specifically what mechanism is used for error reporting.. so i can actually block it on my router. Not a fan of microsoft's weak ass firewall bloatware.

sorry i am not a fan of firewall software, however; the above mentioned worked easily for me. I do not know the port.

Been bawting before you were born.
That's like saying "i have been living in this world longer, therefore I an smarter". That would explain why there are no dumb retired ppl right? :D

I'am no trying to insult you, but please. Don't use this reasoning ever again.

This thread is just kind of pointless. If we knew what we did wrong, we wouldn't be getting banned ever.

It's always just speculation.

Silly question here, but, back in the pirox days, their forums were secured via a user agreement meaning no-one affiliated in any way shape or form with blizzard could touch anything to do with pirox.

Not saying blizzard didn't investigate their software / forums, but it surely didn't hurt!

I don't see such a notice on these forums, and it would seem that blizz reps have uncontrolled access to these materials for their own purposes.

Call me stupid, but wouldn't it be a decent idea to attempt some forum protection? Or some download protection?

Seeing as all the plugins and profiles are public, blizzard could have a deluge of statistics that trigger red flags.

As long as you dont take money OUT of the game (RMAH), but instead use the farmed items for your character,
I don't believe they ever bann you, since you help them with the -15% fee (GMAH) + no money output.

Win/Win for blizz?

"It's a conspiracy I tell you!!"

O, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but use arguements, not randomly picked words ^^.

Didnt wear my tinfoil hat when the banwave happened.. Big mistake :'(

It doesn't matter. Blizzard would just buy access to the forums and see everything anyway.

Furthermore, the forums are open to the public for SEO reasons. Might as well make more money / drive more traffic considering you aren't going to stop people from seeing content just by making it "customer" only.
