A mate of mine is doing nicely ever since he committed to changing his chars' gear to +MF and to do champ pack farming, so after this weekend I am definitely contributing all further gold to upgrade the gear on my Monks and Barbs.
I too have mostly DHs but, it does not seem that they are good enough to last long enough when facing champion packs, well mine never survive. They can handle act 1 elites when controlled by the bots but, my currently geared up Barb totally owns the champs. She just needs to change her gear to +MF.
What would be cool, would be if you could have chars' working together, grouping up and running these profiles together. Better chance of survive-ability, and better drops (I believe). You need for this to work without ever having to interact with the system. It needs to be fully automated, which at present it is not. As far as I know, you still have to manually form the group, and manually interact with the portals, for the chars' that are following the main character.
GW2 - no subscription, YEY - that game looks awesome. I have a copy on order with Amazon, and will be playing it normally to start with, just to fully appreciate it, then bring on the bot
Hopefully it will be as enjoyable as WoW was, during WoW's first few years of existence. If it is, I'll be botting to gather gold and gear, then taking part in quests, PvP, and guild activities

And the real beauty of it, the combination of Diablo 3 and DemonBuddy paid for it
