so which game to bot now?

Yes, its profitable to do some grocery shopping once a week. It wont pay you a BMW.

Considering how little "work" it takes to make money yes I would say it is still profitable (although getting worse and worse every day). Of course you're not going to live off it (unless you live in a non-first-world country or run a billion bots) but it's nice income on the side, especially with the possibility of hitting GG items that sell for a lot.

I've been doing this since db came out, I'm not doing anything wrong. If I pay retail for each copy of d3+ electricity and I get banned after a month I barley break even.... I saved 2bil I hope prices go up when pop hits then I'm cashing out. On top of that the only items selling in rmah are $5 items, all my 20-100 items won't sell unless I make the prices super low but then I'm just better off selling it for gold. Not gnna start botting again unless it becomes profitable

It is still profitable, even ebay gold price in the eu went from 0.12 per mil yesterday to 0.15 today, dunno why it is raising, surprised me a bit, but i like it

OP is asking what the next big game is. I'm also interested in this. We have closed GW2Buddy and BuddyWing so wondering what to make a bot for next.

you should be able to get your money back for d3 copies and electricity in about 2 weeks (or even less), else you are doing something wrong. After two weeks it should be pure profit even if you are banned in the next 2 weeks (month from start)

i dont give a shit what you think, i didnt ask if its profitable

maybe make some LoL/Dota bot, there seems money to be made.

Blizzard games will always be the biggest money makers. Unfortunately we won't see a bump in D3 profit unless patch 1.07 is HUGE, but even then I wouldn't expect much of an increase over the 0.25 floor. An expansion would boost it up a bit more, but I don't think it will go even close to $1 /m, and certainly not nearly close to the $10+ / m we used to get in the early days.

So we are left with Blizzard's Titan MMO (with no ETA), and possible WoW expansions. Problem with WoW is that gold is hardly profitable... hell we saw how little MoP did to increase gold prices.

As far as non-Blizzard games go, I don't see much potential in PoE (too small playerbase, and its just hardcore players and not a bunch of rich casuals which we milk for money a la D3/WoW). GW2 turned out to be a bust. Same goes for RO2 and some of the other games mentioned here unfortunately. Looks like we'll have to get a real job for a couple years at least.

I'm curious to see what potential there is in MOBA games like LoL/DotA2. There looks to be quite a bit of farming involved so there might be some money to be had, especially with DotA2 and the new Steam Marketplace (sorta like D3 RMAH).

wtf are u talking about? in MoP gold went from 0,12 to 1,25 and stays now since ages at 0,4€ which is real rentable.

the only problem right now is that gold will stop selling more and more so itll take some effort to actually turn it into bucks, other then that im still making equivalent money to my pre 18/12 batch

Is MOP worth botting for a newbie . I picked up the xpac for 20$ . Don't know if its worth the time

Don't be mean man! You said in your first post that D3 isn't profitable anymore, i just pointed out some simple economics that shows otherwhise.

Don't get me wrong if there is another game which brings more profit i would also like to know that... :)

i think sandbox style games are the future. everquest next will be a sandbox, but it is over a year away.

if archeage comes to america, then that will probably be a great sandbox.
