Go back to the old-school minerals/herbs if you're planning on stockpiling for Cataclysm or have any plan to stockpile. There is definitely loads of gold to be made right now and there are opportunities that will open up further down the line if you're prepared.

Ran the Nagrand profile for about 6 hrs, got about 1000g worth of mats for the AH, my server prices aren't that super. I can make more just running around Sholazar and selling the herbs and smelting saronite and transmuting into titanium. Tony's ultimate profile is great for a variety of goods for AH but after running it for a few days I don't think I can make a much just simply flying around Sholazar.

Heh.. ill go with possibly both! lol now that doesnt mean thats MY opinion im just saying what i think hes implying

As for the topic, im smelting all my ore and xmuting to titanium bars then with the uber amounts of eternals im making titansteel which still goes for around 120g-150 a bar on my server. If you still running heroics and get a decent supply of crusader ores you can make around 2k profit on each of the Breastplate of the White knight you put on the ah or sell privately. So far sold around 12 of them using mats my shaman farms while im at work. Not to mention all the gems you get when your farming.
