I am here to say that the HonorBuddy Beta that we keep getting referred to is ALSO NOT WORKING. and when someone tells us to post at HonorBuddy Beta about it, it is getting absolutely nothing done because the people there are not responding either. All I am requesting is that we stop referring people to the HonorBuddy Beta because anything to do with movement is not working. I will even post a Log to go with this message to make sure you can see that the bot just thinks it is perpetually stuck.

its beta, if it was stable, then we would call it stable. we're giving you and telling you there is a beta you can try if you like, but that your going to have to wait for a stable build to be made.

not that the beta is useless, people are using it for combat bot and the issues people have an report properly in the beta thread will help us make sure they are resolved in the stable version.

Just because you don't get a personal thank you for your bug post doesn't mean nothing is getting done. The beta build is in beta. Beta means some stuff doesn't work. You know, like the big red words that appear in the HB Beta console. If you don't want a beta version, don't use the beta. You know you've been asked to report beta bugs in the beta thread (you said so) and yet you came to Support Issues to post instead. Would you just throw your mail in random locations in your yard and expect the mailman to find it and deliver it for you?

Why not? Who knows? It's just the way it was. And saying DEVs are in EU time is not an acceptable answer since keys can be bought for US in EU and vice versa blahblahblah Security would be the biggest reason. We all know hiding things in the client isn't beneath them.

So the fact that Lazyraider was working at all tonight in the beta made me smile. The fact i just went to quest and he said 'fuck you' didn't
But as has been stated, it's a beta, meaning i am sure the release which will no doubt be out tomorrow/today will be all good and dandy.

The OP does have a valid point of it being pointless to direct someone to post in a thread when it is kinda pointless to do so. I am sure Nat/Apoc/Raphus/et al. are well aware of the issues that the beta has when it got released so sending more people to create more clutter is...well...kinda pointless. Seems they got a Beta out that would have LR working at least since most people raid on a Tuesday night and it doesn't requite the bot to do any movement, rather than holding back until wednesday for a full release. Which is also why it's the Beta and not the full release. At least that's the way it seems to me

Pretty much spot on.

The beta is there for a reason. To test things before it goes into a full release build. That includes "broken" updates. (Which should all be resolved now)

We don't expect people to use the beta as their day-to-day bot. We provide it because people have asked for it, and want to help find bugs, etc. It's easier this way, since we can break things, and not have a single broken build. The stable build will always be there until we're happy with a beta build, and are able to call it a stable build.

*smile* Actually...yes i do...frequently I think it is wrong we pay for 60 days gametime when at least 12 hours/wk, at least 48 hrs/mth - 2 days - are spent on maintenance and 'hotfixes' to fix 'hotfixes' that needed fixing because of the patches

But that's niether here nor there in this discussion and the subject is getting derailed like a bad 70s movie. And that is also a recurring payment system which is slightly different.
