is there a current number on ban/suspension increases? I havent botted since that whole ordeal because right now im only rockin' my main account which I know I shouldn't do, but I farmed for maybe 4 hours a day in vale gathering ore, and that was about it, and the occasional KICK profile on a low level alt, just want to know if there has been a spike in bans, if its seemingly as safe as before the event, and if I should just be patient and wait the 30 days.

There has been no statistically significant data since the event. Also, as many others have mentioned it is unlikely that there would be an immediate ban and suspension increase. If Blizzard has taken some sort of action to identify botters (HB or others) then they will likely collect data and ban at once. A small banwave would cause botters that were not caught to cease activity until a workaround is found. It would be unwise for Blizzard to show their cards in that fashion.

completely understand that but I wasn't really looking for someone to ease my mind, im not going to bot for the 30 days until some real info gets relayed to us, was just wondering if there were any stats out at the moment to show if there were any of us botters that have been hit in larger numbers, I bot on the DL, few hours a day if that, but even though the bot is "undetectable" the site has minimal security, profiles just out there for everyone to see, and I'm sure Blizz has used and is probably using the bot to see how it works, to me, botting right now isnt worth the risk.

I had been using and would like to use Tyrael again and nothing else on my Main Account, but since that Tripewire-Event/Announcement, I stopped even that. I am playing this account since mid-BC and got attached to it. Attached to it and attached to playing it with HB. I wouldn't care for a farming account and hands-down get a new one.

But this one, no way using HB for now. To me, it would be a nightmare realizing, Bl!zz put an efford to and into warden to detect HB, because of the CR's an the moaning of players in Arenas, BGs etc.

I personally would be gone 4 good then. Adios WoW. Welcome TESO, TOR or whatever.

So after this terrible news about Tripwire I have also stoped using HB - but personally I've "only" used it for CR and now I'am sad panda.

Same with me, I just bot for fun and because I don't want to grind the life out of my afternoons after work. My main account was banned but I've got two more accounts in that Battle.net so they share all the mounts and achievements so I don't care and I made another account. Right now that account has already seven lvl.90 and if that one gets banned I'll do the same again. I tried to play by hand but honestly it's not fun at all. Just buttonsmashing for 15min and you can't even enjoy the fight anymore because you're worried about smashing buttons like a mad man.

Blizzard would not start banning people after a major change the same way police aren't going to pounce at the first second on every undercover operation; if you ban people right away then we know their change detected HB and it would ward off other people from using it. Instead they'll wait and see how many they can get before they mass ban.

More of a risk, less of a risk? Dunno. I'm going to do what I do. I bot on my main account generally everyday for 4-7 hours. Be it leveling, farming, or whatever. If I get banned, that sucks, I of course work on being undetected but shite happens. I find the game very boring this late into a patch, and kind of boring in general, I only really enjoy the competitive PvP or raids in first few months of a patch which I go at manually. Some of you however should just stop paying for HonorBuddy in general, the paranoia in here is strong.

No one knows it's all speculation so make up your own mind. Im botting on my main for LFR and tyrael and I have a 5man dungeonbuddy team running random heroics 5-8hrs a night. No problems as YET!!

IF honorbuddy is detected it doesnt matter how much you bot a day, if you've attached it you'll get banned.

Thats a big "IF" and if it was detected they should be snatching 10 to 50 accounts a day already. If people are scared to bot then dont do it, its that easy. my computer acts human so its not a botter at all
