So, I've got a question or two.

I recently got the honorbuddy trial. So far, it's awesome. I love that I can play a class max leveled without actually doing the dirty work. I'm definitely going to purchase lifetime.

However, I have a few questions.

I run the bot about 7 hours in the morning (7am-2pm), then 5 in the afternoon (6pm-11pm).

What are the chances of me being caught and banned? I'm using kicks profiles at the moment. I've leveled one shaman to 50 so far. This is my main account and I don't want to come home to see it banned. Is this schedule an acceptable one?

Also, how would I go about profession leveling. And is the BG bot too risky?

I'm really looking for suggestions from all you experienced users.

Using honorbuddy can (and most likely) will get you banned at some point, you might be unlucky and bot for 5-10 min and get that fucker banned..
Porfessions aint that much safer imo. nor is BG botting..

I like the idea of HB as a product, but it does need more.. work

I'm done everything extensively and ran it constantly. I've been banned from gatherbuddy only and quick. The chance is always there no matter what. I just don't have the time to invest at all besides raids and arenas.
Everything possible besides gatherbuddy has been ran for 24 hours or more questing usually goes non stop. I try to switch it up though and rotate bot bases to something else. The same thing too long in the same place is the most obvious.

You CAN use HB, but do it on an account.. that you won't go cry to your mom about being banned next morning

Sadly, the main reason I want to purchase lifetime is to use it on my main account. But if there is too much of a risk to it (Which it seems like you guys are insinuating that there is), It is disheartening and makes me not really want to purchase it now.

I mean, I knew that there was risks when I used it in the first place, but it seems like that risk is getting bigger the more I talk to you guys.

I guess I could run it on a separate account. Would there be an issues if the names are the same? In case I wanted to transfer it later?

Let's say, I use HB on a different account, get two toons to 90 and stuff, then want to Xfer to my main account. Would that look suspicious?

HB can be used on main accounts in some situations, but the fact remains it's always at risk. If the account means that much to you, hand level and play it. Get some other cheap accounts to bot on. Better off not to risk your "main" account. Also, should the main account benefit in any way from the botting account, that is the same as botting on it. HB isn't really intended for botting "main" accounts. Over the years, it's purpose has altered. At this point in the "botting" game, it more for persons wishing to invest in cheap accounts and bot them for profit. Expect bans, just make sure you turn a profit prior to the ban.

I must comment on this as well. I have botted on my main account since glider first came out and then moved on to honorbuddy. I have never been banned on it. That is not saying I will never be banned it just depends on how you bot.

Would it be greatly reduced if I watch it bot while I'm near the PC? Like, Babysitting (I think that's what you guys call it).

I'd like to try to bot the safest way possible.

let me explain it to you this way:
the only time i bot on my main account, it's when i raid. So for a few hours a week. (3-4 hours)
and even tho i probably could get banned in that time period, and lose things that i've invested alot of time and gold into.. (like a swift spectral tiger, 10k+ achivs etc) imo. it weighs out the fact that i can raid, do top dps (using Millz Demonic premium) and enjoy myself that way.

It's basically a decision you personally have to make, is it worth it?
Everytime you load up the bot, you could potentially get banned.. even if you sit there and stare at it like a zombie..
it doesn't change the fact that you'd still be able to get that, "Disconnected" and when you then login again.. it says "Account has been terminated blah blah blah".
If it's worth it, in your own opinion.. then do it.
If it's not worth it, don't bot on it

That's why most of us (99%) has diffrent account that we use to farm gold on, either to sell.. or for personal useage..
it might be to farm 500k for a mount that you really want, and instead of spening 300 hours in a game.. you bot it in a few weeks

Hb is like riding a bicycle, in the beginning you'll most likely fall. Once you learn how to obtain the balance etc. it get's easier, and you don't fall..
BUT, there's still a chance that you could fall and die. ^^

I bot on my main. I really enjoying this game and I love my account. I only use tyrarel for leveling/questing. That's it.

I know I WILL get banned sooner or later. When that day comes I'll play some sad music and think back of all good times...

...and create a new account and experience the joy again!

In the end...it's only a game. And a game is meant to be repeated
