So is it safe to use AB once again?

I've read through most of the threads around and have gathered the following
- if you get banned You're probably going to be IP banned
- Most people who used a form of land grabber that scanned buildings got banned
- Random people appear to have been hit with a ban

myself I Like to live dangerously and bot on my main, nothing serious, just a little questing and farming and I didn't get banned. I have Multiple accounts across Multiple Computers, however none were banned
So my question is, - Is it relatively safe to use AB for things again? nothing obvious however, just farming/gathering hidden farms
And did people get banned from Glyph/HS Detecting AB Running , or simply from GM's Checking server log and people playing

I wish to continue using AB to Farm while I watch movies, however I'm afraid of being hit with a ban.

I know it will never be 100% safe, I'm just looking for as much reassurance that was there before the recent banwave

Hi, 90% bans was by GM checking server logs and find something here. It can be anything.
You always have risk when you bot, but I always try to make this risk minimal

Been using AB for a a couple of weeks on my main account. I escaped the banwave. Used only Scarecrow, and Lazytrader with the default provided route Tigerspine / Villanelle, half an hour of Questing (from level 13, not level 1) and a little of Simpleminer. Those were the only plug ins I was able to work with given my abyssimal coding abilities.

I also wasn't connected with AB when they did their sweep / banwave.

I know another person who botted "casually" just to plant his mushrooms and run tradepacks who wasn't banned.

Our friend using Radar and land grabbing did get hacked.

We'll lay low for a while and start using scarecrow again in a couple of weeks, see how it goes.

I have only used it for mining and a few hours of fishing and occasional radar and got was safe from the ban it is all on your time and never afk also had friends who did not use bot get hit with the wave so there is that

Scapes said we were welcome to keep playing the game, so that means they do not ban all IPs.

I think they ban an IP as soon as they know it is a proxy/vpn.
They don't ban regular IPs (unless you run too many accounts from one perhaps), didn't ban mine.
